And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills. Zephaniah 1:10 I was posting this verse and got curious about the term fish gate. What was it? According to Bible history web-site, it is a north gate of the second quarter of Jerusalem that happened to be close to the fish market. That is just one of those things that I had wondered about, so I thought I would mention it in case anyone else wanted to know.
