There are many resources out there with ways to read the Bible through in a year, but I am going to give you a simple one I have used. Just start in Genesis and read 4 chapters a day every day, and you will finish in less than a year. If you have never read the KJV Bible through, 2019 is a great time to do it!
One other tip. You don't have to stop at 4 chapters. When you get to Psalms, you may find you can read much more than 4 psalms per day.

If you have a smart phone, you can get apps with audio Bibles to play in your car. That way you can listen during your commute to work.

One tip:
If you feel yourself discouraged and unwilling to read the Bible then it is a good time to start fasting.
"...you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." - 1 Peter 2:5
And before reading you pray:
Lord, fill me, fill me with your Holy Spirit! And guide me in all truth.
"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" - Matthew 7:11
And you will start reading and it will be difficult to stop. Just take the first step.
"...without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." - Hebrews 11:6
Blessings in Jesus' name!

Blessings in Jesus' name! I like that, and in addition, sometimes if you are feeling dry when you begin reading, if you press on, that will suddenly change as you begin to experience God's presence. To me, the most difficult portions are genealogies.

If you have a smart phone, you can get apps with audio Bibles to play in your car. That way you can listen during your commute to work. That is a good idea. I have the Bible on cd, read by Alexander Scorby. I converted them to mp3 files. If you have time, reading along is good.

...if you are feeling dry when you begin reading, if you press on, that will suddenly change as you begin to experience God's presence. Yes, it is a daily battle. "For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance..." - Matthew 13:12
"And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit..." - Ephesians 5:18

They got many ways to do this . in fact they have the three month plans . And guess what that is easy to do . And it mixes old test , some new test and a bit of proverbs and pslams , EVERY DAY . that is the beauty of it . they all over . I recommend the three month or eighty nine day ones . It don't take long , and besides all that , IT IS A JOY TO READ and HEAR the WORD . ONE thing I notice in most folks , they seeing things backwards . its like a mentality of God created us to serve us . IF we see the truth , that we are His workmanship created to serve and LOVE HIM , we in the RIGHT BOAT . anything else is sinking sand . YOU loved butero . But I want to encourage us only more , TO SIMPLY SEE GOD as one who is worthy of all worship , no matter how bad we may suffer , HE IS JUST WORTHY OF ALL PRAISE AND WORSHIP . I truly wish folks would see the JOY those apostels had . And it had nothing to do with their circumstances . IT WAS REAL JOY , because ITWAS centered above on CHRIST . THEY rejoiced when they suffered and lost things for HIS SAKE . THE MEN SANG IN PRISON . PAUL n prison writes , I have ALL and I ABOUND . Folks are focusing on the wrong god , SELF . NOPE I say let that empty dead flesh god , DIE . AND LIVE UNTO THE LORD with ALL REAL HOPE and ALL AFFECTIONS ABOVE . EXPERIENCE and KNOW THE TRUE ABUNDANT LIFE . and that ABUNDANCE is , SIMPLY TO KNOW THE LORD and KNOW HIM EVEN MORE no matter what we lose or suffer .

If you have the time, you can double up and read 8 chapters a day and finish in less than 6 months, but not everyone has the time to do that. I did go through a period of time where I was able to go through the Bible twice a year for three years straight, but that was because of the job I had at the time. I was a trailer switcher at a place that was slow paced, and would read while I waited by the radio.

For those who are looking to read through the KJV Bible in a year, at 4 chapters per day, we should be finishing up Genesis chapter 8 by this evening. That takes us from the true story of creation to Noah's flood. If we stay on track, we will finish the Bible in less than a year.

For those who are reading straight through the KJV Bible in a year at the rate of 4 chapters per day, that should have you finishing up Genesis chapter 28 tonight. I know that Frienduff is reading through his Bible. If you have not been doing so, but still want to finish within a year, at 4 chapters a day, you will finish in less than a year, so you could begin now and still finish up by December 31. Chapter 28 gets into the story of Jacob's ladder. There is a lot of good stuff in Genesis.

Just a reminder for those who have reading straight through the Bible at the rate of 4 chapters per day since the start of the New Year, today marks the end of the second full week, so we should be finishing up Exodus chapter 6 by this evening.

Put those hands up and praise the Lord . And keep reading in new test and some pslams and proverbs too . Hands up and let all praise the LORD >
