January 22, 1973 was a dark day for this once God fearing nation. It is the day that a group of 9 men in black robes that sat on the nation's highest court made up a Constitutional right out of thin air for women to have an abortion. They declared all state laws that were on the books across the nation that protected innocent life were unconstitutional, though they clearly knew that nobody that had a hand in writing the Constitution ever intended to grant women the right to murder their children. When I think of this nation's greatest sins, abortion is clearly near the top. It likely ranks right behind the nation turning it's back on God with another travesty of justice by the High Court, where they allowed one atheist to persuade them that God needed to be thrown out of our schools, and they declared a separation between church and state. We are guilty of many other sins, most as a result of Supreme Court decisions, like the flood of filth through pornography and now gay marriage, but to me, abortion is even worse, as it means the legalized killing of the most vulnerable in our society. Little boys and girls are ripped apart in their Mother's wombs legally, by so-called doctors who gladly take on the role of killer for hire.
Some people claim the Bible is silent on the issue of abortion, but that is not true. The Bible commands us not to kill, so in order to determine if God looks at an unborn child as human, we would simply need to look at scripture. I will give us a few to consider.
Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:4,5
And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. And it came to pass that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost. And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. Luke 1:39-42
And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD. And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. Genesis 25:21-23
Notice how God describes them. In Jeremiah, God states it is he that formed Jeremiah in the womb, and knew him before he formed him. He always knew him as Jeremiah, even before birth, a human being. In the case of Elisabeth, when she learned that Mary was expecting the Christ child, her unborn baby leaped in her womb. Notice it says "babe," not fetus, not zygote, but babe. In the case of Rebekah, when she was pregnant with twins, it calls the unborn babies children. That is how God views a human from the moment of conception, not a potential life, but a child, a babe, and he knows them by name. To kill an unborn child is to commit murder. This nation has a lot of innocent blood on it's hands, and God pays attention. When Cain slew his brother, God said his blood cried out from the ground. The shedding of innocent blood defiles the very land in a nation. Notice what it says in Numbers 35:33
So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.
We are living in a nation where millions have been killed legally, all under the label of women's rights. What about the rights of those little babies? Half of them are female. What about their rights? Babies are being killed, just so women can be equal with men in work place opportunities. Having a baby might create a problem for a career gal, so if she happens to become pregnant, she can go to her local abortion mill and pay a man to murder her unborn child, all nice and legal, and go right back to work. While our courts may have forced this upon America, we will still be held accountable. The innocent blood cries out to God from the ground demanding justice, and justice they shall have one day. Many of those who are responsible for Roe verses Wade are already paying dearly for what they have done, and have an eternity of torments to think about what they have done, but make no mistake. Hell enlargeth herself to receive all those abortion clinic doctors and judges and politicians that have a part in keeping the murder of innocent children "safe and legal." May the Lord have mercy on America. May the Lord bless all those who continue to stand up for innocent unborn children.
