This is for you, Frienduff! Here is one for you my dear sister . Faith plus nothing is simply faith IN NOTHING . For faith in CHRIST has works as evidence ONE is truly IN CHRIST .
If a king or president bids us TO DO things according to the laws of men and we respect and do that . Then why on earth ought we not TO DO as JESUS HIMSELF SAID TO DO and not be hearers only . If we can respsect the good honest laws of men THEN OUGHT WE NOT to be HEARERS and DOERS UNTO THE ONE WHO CREATED ALL MEN and ALL THAT IS . We teach our children , well some do , but we teach our children to OBEY us YET when we teach OBEY GOD we are seen as having ten heads and five necked dragons . Folks this generation is in straight up trouble . WE ought to KNOW the TERROR of GOD and persuade men , NOT preach an image of GOD that seems to not have a big issue with SIN and DISOBEDIANCE . WHEN IN TRUTH . HE DOES . Any child of the KING would know this . THEY SHOULD know it in their hearts .

This is for you, Frienduff! Not only did they NOT say this , THEY SAID THIS , FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD . SO how can faith PLUS NOTHING mean anything BUT DECEPTOIN . IT CONTRADICTS JAMES who echoed Christ who said BE HEARES AND DOERS JESUS said that FIRST and JAMES who actually had SAT UNDER HIM taught it too . Remember the parable of the house built on stone and the house built on sand . HOW did it start off again . IF any man hears my sayings AND DOES THEM , A HEARER and A DOER , he dug down real deep and laid that foundation ON THE STONE but if a man hears and does not , ALL SINKING SAND . And james , BE NOT HEARERS ONLY DECEIVING YOUR OWN SELVES . YEP . WE gonna heed CHRIST and the bible . The Christ OF the bible and not todays acronyms .

"Then Jesus said to His disciples,
“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." - Matthew 16:24
As you can see above, we must deny ourselves...
"...you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength..." - Mark 12:30
And to take up our cross, and follow Him...
"...You shall love your neighbor as yourself..." - Mark 12:31
"...Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you..." - Luke 6:27
"...as I have loved you, that you also love one another." - John 13:34
Just as Christ loved us when we hated Him.
"...God demonstrates His own love toward us,
in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
"For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus:
that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who
live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again." - 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." - John 15:13
"...And when He had spoken this, He said to him, “Follow Me.”" - John 21:19
"By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.
And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren." - 1 John 3:16
Blessings in Jesus' name!

After seeing some occurrences of people dying suddenly I was thinking...
And there are people who are still waiting for tomorrow to repent and come to Christ.
But the problem is:
"...you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life?
It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." - James 4:14
Think about your life now, will it be worthy to live the rest of your life in this way?
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" - Mark 8:36
What is the reward you have received from those things until now?
"What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed?
For the end of those things is death." - Romans 6:21
Will the Lord be pleased?!
"But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life." - John 5:40
"If he does not turn back,
He will sharpen His sword;
He bends His bow and makes it ready." - Psalm 7:12
"...unless you repent you will all likewise perish." - Luke 13:3
"...Be saved from this perverse generation." - Acts 2:40
"...Do not be deceived.
Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers,
nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Leaving for tomorrow is risky. Tomorrow may not come.
"Behold, I am coming as a thief.
Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame." - Revelation 16:15
"...‘As I live,’ says the Lord God,
‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live.
Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die...’" - Ezekiel 33:11
"“Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool." - Isaiah 1:18
Blessings in Jesus' name!

"Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."- Heb 10:19-25
May we truly "hold fast" without wavering. For this is a key to the overcoming life and attaining the First Resurrection, and becoming the "house" in which God will come to dwell, as Jesus promised (John 14:2, 14:23); and the writer of Hebrews confirmed, "whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end." - Heb 3:6
An essay I wrote - Hold Fast

Amen, we need to continue till the end. A lot of people start out in the truth, but then fall away later on to become a castaway. Let us hold fast to Jesus till he comes. I believe he is coming back sooner than most suspect. Be always watching and waiting.

What happens when people despise the Lord and start walking in darkness, and what happens if we insist in continuing to walk with Him:
"...a certain young man followed Him, having a linen cloth thrown around his naked body.
And the young men laid hold of him, and he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked." - Mark 14:51-52
"Your nakedness shall be uncovered, Yes, your shame will be seen..." - Isaiah 47:3
"But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." - 1 John 1:7
"Behold, I am coming as a thief.
Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments,
lest he walk naked and they see his shame." - Revelation 16:15
"He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments,
and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life;
but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels." - Revelation 3:5
"But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven." - Matthew 10:33
"Behold, I am coming as a thief..." - Revelation 16:15
"But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness." - 1 Thessalonians 5:4-5
"But if that servant says in his heart,
‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants,
and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on
a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware,
and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers." - Luke 12:45-46
"Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,
“I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”" - John 8:12
"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light..." - Ephesians 5:8
And you?! Are you walking in darkness or in the light?
"Love has been perfected among us in this:
that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world." - 1 John 4:17
"For so the Lord has commanded us:
‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles,
That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”" - Acts 13:47
"Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." - Matthew 5:16
Let us walk in the light today, tomorrow, and forever!
Blessings to you in Jesus' name!

Do not be worried, anxious and thinking:
I have to get this or that, or, how and when will I get it?!
“...Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed...” - Luke 10:41-42
“Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you.” - Job 22:21
“...seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God,
which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:6-7
Blessings to you in Jesus' name!
