This is very, very important and many Christians could do this much, much better.
"To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven..." - Ecclesiastes 3:1
I am not saying that you cannot watch a movie, play a game, and things like that.
But there is a time for this, the problem is that many people just want to give priority to what is unprofitable.
It is common to see people who spend hours and hours playing a game or watching a movie, and do little or nothing profitable.
I believe we have to organize our time better. There is a time for every thing, every thing.
And we have to keep a balance, which is very, very important.
Daily, we will have to do things we would not want to. And it is exactly those things that (usually) are of more importance.
It is much easier to disregard those things and leave them for later, then we realize we did not do it, and leave for tomorrow.
We need to organize our time better, with the direction of the Lord.
There is a time to work, there is also a time to study, there is also a time to care for the family, and there is also a time for having fun.
We can do all things, if we administer our time better.
And there are also many things we could simply eliminate from our lives.
Some people complain they have little time and yet they find time for doing the most unprofitable things you can imagine.
If time is lacking, we could easily remove those unprofitable activities and replace them by things that are more important.
It is fun to play that game, or have that chat with someone you like... But you do not need it to keep at it for hours a day.
We need to use our time more efficiently, we can do all things, but we cannot be stuck at one thing.
As an example, we could wake up at the morning - and if it is difficult to do so, start asking Him for energy and love to be able to start one more day.
When we are full of energy, we can start doing our daily activities. Remember: There is a time for every thing.
There is a time to work, a time to study, a time to play, a time to sleep.
Do not let other tasks take you too much time, leave them for another day always when possible. There is a time for every thing.
And never sacrifice your sleep time when it is not needed, a bad sleep can make all your work and study less efficient.
And when you thought you would gain more time you would actually be losing.
A good sleep is very, very important... Do not let trivial things take it away from you.
And do not become obsessive with one task for the whole day, this is not healthy.
Remember: There is a time for every thing.
Do not become crazy or excessively worried and start thinking that you have to do it all today.
Leave it for later, or organize your time better next time.
One thing I see is that people waste too much time with vanity, seeking for fun.
Others do nothing but work and study in order to achieve success.
Both are not healthy, and actually can have the opposite consequences.
They would do much better if they organized their time appropriately, and with wisdom.
There is a time to work, there is a time to study, there is a time to play, there is a time to love the family, there is a time to praise the Lord, there is a time to read the Bible.
Yes, there is a time for everything. Just use it wisely, and cut what is useless as much as possible.
It is OK to play a game, but if it is being useless to me I can spend more time with the Holy Spirit.
It is OK to work, but I can work less and spend more time with my family. If your work is killing you, then there can be something wrong.
"For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy:
but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God." - Ecclesiastes 2:26
Organize your time better, live better. Use it wisely, produce more fruits.
Blessings to you in Jesus' name!
