I took several Spanish courses in high school. But I learn best when watching those Spanish soap operas!
Telenovias?? No se.
But I just found this Spanish radio.
I only know a little of what they're saying but I love it. It's like I can listen to Mariachi and them talking all day!

I have never looked at Spanish as a beautiful language, but I never seriously tried to learn it. I don't care much for their style of music. There are a lot of Hispanics in my area, and they will have Spanish language radio stations playing. I would like to be able to understand those on Spanish television programs or movies. I will on occasion look at foreign shows with subtitles.
As far as just the sound goes, I have always liked the Italian language, but I don't understand it.

Italian is beautiful to listen to too. Don't get me started on French! It's like, I don't know what you're saying but I can sure say "hello!"

I have always wanted to learn Italian, since my ancestry on my Father's side is Italian. Butero is an Italian name. I don't know anyone who speaks that language, so from a practical standpoint. if I was going to take the time to learn another language, Spanish makes more sense.

Well, I reckon I could learn any language I put my mind to.
