In the Bible, numbers seem to have significance. There is the number 3, which reminds us of the Holy Trinity. There is the number 6, which is the number of a man, thus the number of the beast is 666. There is 7, which is considered the number of completion and perfection, as it took God 6 days to create the world, but He added to us a seventh day for rest. 7 x 7 = 49, the number of years to each jubilee. 70 x 7 is the number of times we should be prepared to forgive our brother should he sin against us each day. Then there is the number 12, which we see many times over, as with the 12 patriarchs, the twelve tribes, the twelve original apostles, the twelve gates to enter New Jerusalem, etc. Many look at 13 as bad because Judas Iscariot is the outcast of the original Apostles, which required a replacement and that he caused there to be 13 when there should have been twelve.
Thoughts on this and numbers I didn't mention?

Far too often numbers are used to promote superstition unlucky 13, 13 witches in a coven , no 13th floor or house number etc etc most people refuse to have the number 666 in a license plate of even to live in a house of that number I wont add to the nonsense and false importance people assign to numbers until God tells me otherwise. No matter how mant times people refuse to use the number 13 if it comes after twelve guess what ? It IS 13 no matter what you call it

I don't subscribe to that, but there are certain numbers in scripture that seem significant. The number 12 seems significant regarding God's order.

I like the number four. It's significant in Scripture. It seems to represent the four corners of the Earth. So four is the number of the Earth.
