No I do not believe that the rapture has happened yet, and it is obvious that it has not, love you in the Lord. I hope the rapture happens ---well it'd be selfish to want it now. But I just feel like Jesus could come back RIGHT now and I'd be like, "Let's go!" I pray I keep on that race and run it well. Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.

2Th 2:7-8 (7) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
It is after that he who now letteth gets taken out of the way that the Antichrist gets revealed, when will that be???
Will it be when the rapture takes place, and the Antichrist signs a peace treaty? Or will it be at some point in the tribulation period?

Assuming we are right about a pre-tribulation rapture, there is nothing that says it must happen immediately before the tribulation starts. It could happen several years prior to it.

Well say that the thing that must be taken out of the way, does refer to the rapture, which I am not saying it is, just saying.
It says that the wicked one gets revealed afterwards.
But say "he" that gets taken out of the way refers to something else, then you would have to know what this thing is, in order to pin point a timing, that is if it can be done.

What if the Lord, in His wisdom, hid prophetic happenings in ordinary "every day" believers who began to show a thousand-fold fruit?

2Th 2:8 (8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Ever notice the way things are written?
We can see that the spirit of Antichrist is at work, but concerning "he" who now letteth, the focus is not in hindering the spirit of antichrist from increasing, but it's sole purpose, is that it hinders the Antichrist from being revealed in who he is.
Sometimes in scripture certain things can hinder in many ways.
Sometimes things can hinder at a certain period of time, even in Paul's time, because sometimes certain prophecies have to come to pass, in order for certain other prophecies to be fulfilled, sometimes certain things can hinder at a certain time, because certain things have to be in place in order for certain other things to come to pass, or be fulfilled.

I will say other things later.
I know that the Antichrist will be revealed in his time.
And I feel that the 666 scripture which should be studied and looked into, for it is in the bible, that God will give the appropriate wisdom, at the appropriate time, in order to figure out how to calculate the number to were it points to a man, but I believe it is for an appointed time, and not before hand.
So I think it is best for us not to try to guess who the Antichrist is, he will be revealed in his time.

Well there is something else in the bible that is mentioned as being taken out of the way, which if thought upon carefully, can point to an "he", and would point to an "he".

I just wanted to add that the, "great falling away" and I don't mean to offend anyone, but could it be that many will fall away when they see the great tribulation coming and thought they were not going to have to go through it so they think they believed in something false and get scared and turn from the faith? This is why it was repeated many times, HE THAT ENDURES TO THE END. If Jesus was going to take the believers away, why bother writing the Book of Revelation when we won't have to be here to know what is coming?? Does that make sense?
Many of the lukewarm Christians will fall away when they see the hardships of the Great Tribulation coming, they were ill-prepared, they did not redeem the time, they did not buy themselves enough oil (Reading the Word and the Holy Spirit) to endure what is going to be a testing for the whole world. Many will fall away. The great apostasy. They will quit. They will not endure. They will give up their crown of life. They will take the Mark of the Beast and be lost forever.
So like frienduff says, we gotta keep sounding the alaram and warning!

God would give us details about the tribulation so we would fear it and be ready for the rapture. If there is no rapture, why fall away? We will recognize what is taking place and the prophecies were true.
