I just wanted to know the timeline of when this prophecy takes place. Hi ruthnnaomi
This is all going to happen at the 2nd Coming. Jesus enemies are not put under his feet just yet, but when he comes with all power and authority, he will judge this world with fury and bring down all the nations leaders which are described as kings (rulers). They will have all their dominion taken away and shall be judged along with all their citizens. It will be a huge bloodbath as all the nations armies will be gathered to war against Christ. This is the day we call Armageddon...because it's where all the armies will gather (at Megiddo) and then come down to war the Lamb to where he is standing on the Mt of Olives. After that all the nations will receive judgement, and no one escapes. I am not sure what verse 7 means exactly but I am looking into it, or maybe someone here can interpret?
My KJV says this;
Psalms 110:7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

Thank you for your analysis of this Psalm. Rapper Shai Linne penned a song about it so I was curious.

I have never liked rap or hip hop style music, The Psalms were originally accompanied by music, but that doesn't mean they were sung. Many songs are done as recitations.

If I had to pick one rapper for you to listen to, it would be Shai Linne. "Exalted" is his lyrical theology study on Psalm 110.

Looking briefly at verse 7, the root word for "brook" has to do with 'inheritance.' May delve a little into this a little soon. I like what I'm seeing in this Psalm! And another verse came to mind thinking on verse 7 above... from Zechariah 14, which speaks of the Day of the Lord as well - "And in that day it shall be That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur. 9 And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be— “The Lord is one,” And His name one."- Zec 14:8-9 Just a couple points to ponder.
