I thank God for hearing me. seeing my prayers for others unfold before my eyes. the blessing of knowing I have fellowship with Him. that He does care. seeing His faithfulness. not just knowing He is faithful... but seeing it. Knowing then, He is for me even when I am unaware or am preoccupied with doing what i have to. His Love never fails. He does not owe me anything. He does not have to do what he does... and all I have to give is gratitude. There is none like Him. Wonderful is His Name.

I am thankful that God has already gone before us. We don't know what is up ahead, but God already knows and has prepared the way. We serve a wonderful God. \O/.

I just simply thank God for giving us his Son.
And of course the bible says to give thanks in all things.

as Butero pointed out... God goes before us, and how beautiful it is those little things we are not mindful of he provides... yes thank God for that... but even more... God orders our footsteps.
The other day a mockingbird had its leg wrapped up with string, probably to use in nest building. the string was caught in some brush and it was dangling and flapping. someone came to my house but didnt pull in the drive way... but parked on the road. which is odd, they normally pull in. i would have never saw it if they didnt park by the road. now i keep my knife sharp. 15 degree convex grind. i cut that string and it flew off. so thank God for ordering our foot steps and sharp knives. a dull knife could have damaged the birds leg by applying excessive force. so keep your steel sharp people. Because God takes care of the little birdies that have no barn or storehouse. He might send you.

I want to thank the Lord for healing from a sinus infection. I feel better than I have in a long time. I also thank the Lord for pointing out a vehicle defect I was able to get fixed before it became a serious problem. God is good.

This has not yet happened to us , but a reminder of praising and giving thanks was seen in acts . After they had been beaten down , they rejoiced and were thankful , praising that they had been worthy to suffer shame for HIS NAME .

spring time brings tons of yellow stuff covering everything here, called pollen. I Thank God for singular and flonase and zyrtec and Excedrin extra strength. Brother Cletus, don't use Flonase! use peppermint oil! I used to use Flonase and I think it messed up my sense of smell a bit! Also I went to the doctor, this was in my early twenties, and said to her that I was having bloody nose issue. She asked me if I used "drugs"? I didn't understand her at all for like a minute, then realized that she was asking if I snorted stuff. I yelled out "NO!" LOL she realized it was the Flonase causing me to have bloody nose as well, thinning the walls of my nasal passages. she sent me to see and ENT.....but peppermint oil! YOUNG LIVING! if you need info, ask me... I do use Excedrin for migraines when I get them. I take one and in the morning cuz it will keep me up all nite from the caffeine.

I take one and in the morning cuz it will keep me up all nite from the caffeine. when you have allergies as bad as i do you do what you have to to make it thru the day. I only use it when i have to tho. but if i dont use it i will still have bloody nose issues, and develop sinus infections. this year i only had 2-3 days of bloody nose issues, which is very good for me. and its about as bad as it gets to the point where i cant function. my allergies actually make me sick/ill if i do not medicate... however
i recently learned of peppermint and am going to try it. i started a little herb garden. i planted rosemary, cilantro, aloe, lavender, jalapenos hot, cayenne long slim(add lemon and honey and cumin/comino(its cheaper in the hispanic food aisle) in tea and it can heal sinus infections... if you can stand the cayenne fire which is 8-10 times hotter than the hottest jalepenos) , cilantro, and a whole mess of mints. organic mint, chocolate mint, peppermint, sweet mint(which so far is doing the best) and i intend to use both rosemary and mint in teas, and when i get enough mint i am going to pursue learning how to make my own oil and concentrating it. rosemary in teas can help with sinus/allergies but one must not consume to much or it can have negative side effects. there are other plants I am reading about and trying to acquire as well. i want to try to go natural and get off all these medications because the truth is they all have negative side effects in long term use. I only take them as needed tho, not year round. I do this will all pharmaceuticals.
any info or links you have to share about peppermint oil would be appreciated as i have not read on the oil so much... just teas. I did pluck a few leafs on the way to work one morning, chewed them a little with my teeth and shoved it down in my gums... like snuff. nose cleared up quickly. kinda tingled too. so i think there is something to this peppermint thing. i dont really like the taste of spearmint but may experiment with some if its good. I want to find the minty-est mint plant that will yield the most "oil" and the most potent oil if i am going the route of oil.
peppermint is also good for headaches, even one of the candies sometimes can help. i suspect if its real or artificial? idk for certain.

I know all about terrible allergies, believe you me brother! I was tested and told that I was allergic to everything! oak, hay, mold, dust, animals.....etc... thankfully not food! LOL I did allergy shots for about 4 years. I don't know if it helped a little? maybe? it was a pain in the butt to go and get them too. If you have local bee keepers, you can get raw honey and take a spoonful everyday and that will help to alleviate some of your allergies. Have to be from your area so you can get the full benefits. I have the peppermint and lavender oils on a tissue that I put in the vent in my car and it helps a lot. I also have my diffuser going on at nite when it is bad and my nose is plugged up. Also eucalyptus is good for sinus infections. I order mine from Young Living, you can sign up too, you can purchase for wholesale price, but to do that you have to purchase a starter kit. Then you can buy whenever you want and whatever oil you want for wholesale. The starter kit runs $160 but you get a diffuser and 11 of the most popular oils with it and info. Peppermint, lavender, thieves, are some of them. If you are interested please pm me. Peppermint oil is also good for nausea and stomach ailments. One must be careful not to get any oil from anywhere because those can be diluted and not pure. If you ingest, you could get sick. I just remembered that you said you had lots of skeeters there, here is a oil recipe.... gonna look for peppermint stuff... maybe since you grow these herbs, you can ingest like you did the peppermint? but something helpful I hope... So Cletus, I do use some of these oils with my diffuser and it really helps to relieve my sinuses and help me to breathe. Something for you to think about. Hope this info helps!

man. you know how some times God does it so good you just cant not speak on it. and you know this is just to good to be from anywhere/anywho but The Almighty. well, for me that day came today. I am tired of working myself down so tired i dont want to do anything on my day off. and really not moving forward in life to much, just barely making it. my knee cant take much more of it anyway. hurts to even bend it some days, let alone walk and even more carry heavy loads, which i do and dont ask for light duty because my knee hurts. some days they call me gimpy. I grew up in a wood shop. know my way around a wood shop. know how to make furniture like coffee tables, entertainment centers/consoles, end tables, console tables, shadow boxes, towel racks, those little cabinet shelves they hang over a toilet, magazine racks. little fancy stuff to. knick knacks. lamps. i can make kitchen and bathroom cabinets too. I just couldnt afford the tools/machines. i had a few but i was limited on what i could build with my skills. this fella i been doing some work for here and there who just so happens to be a beloved brother, and i even found out he is a pastor of a church... and the fellowship is righteous too. well he knew these people thru his church and someone in their family died. he just so happened to have a wood shop and they needed the stuff gone just as much as i needed it. the price was real right. i bought a radial arm saw for 175, with a bench, a fence, and a stack of blades for it... new ones. there was over 175 bucks in blades alone. the saw new is over 2 grand. i bought a band saw too. so now i can cut down trees or acquire logs and turn timber to lumber, even butterfly the grain and slap some tung oil on it and puuurdy puuurdy. and it come with a hand full of blades. these are industrial machines, not harbor freight stuff, though that stuff works this is awesome machines. a scroll saw with a stand too. 2 hand held sanders both for less than the cost of either brand new. I got a big box of fancy fancy wood accents for free. little hinges even fancy locks and clasps. i got a few corner clamps for making picture frames or the like. a whole arm full of dowel rods of different thicknesses and material, some made of poplar. nice nice stuff. I got an adjustable roller for long boards hanging off the bench when cutting... and a metal cabinet with a wood top. I will go dumpster diving at the carpet store in town to cover the table top of this to not scratch fine finish materials as I work. this stuff with what i already had... Cletus is in business. For myself. keep the hours I want. Listen to the music I want... glory glory Hallelujah... in my shop. I have no other to thank for this than God. tomorrow i go to get the big stuff and set up my shop. all I lack right now is paint and wood stain... but guess what, i dont need it right now, LOL. My dream of what i can do to not work for someone else is here. Thank God!!!
edit: and i tested the saws. cuts thru wood like butter.
re-edit: I am gonna make rocking chairs too.
