I believe Jesus had a great sense of humor. Especially with some of the things he said to his disciples.
I think when we meet Him again, we'll be surprised by some of the things he says--- cause they're so funny!
Anyone else agree?

I think when we meet Him again, we'll be surprised by some of the things he says--- cause they're so funny! Anyone else agree? Agree. If you read the Aramaic that Yeshua no doubt used a lot, then you will find all kinds of humor. Remember He is the Son of David. David was a great poet and song-master. He also had a humerous bent. The Greek is quite 'medicinal' and obscures much of The Messiah's intended humor. I think many of the early writings were in Aramaic (a close sister to Hebrew). Most Israelis did not know Greek around the time of Yeshua. They also had forgotten some of the Hebrew dialects - hence Aramaic bridged this gap. It is poetic and lends its self to hyperbole and idiomatic/pictorial turns of phrase. You have to study hard to find a lot of this stuff out since it has been obscured by some translations, and traditions. (read: doctrinal super-impositions)

Everything I have read that Jesus said to his disciples comes across serious to me, but it wouldn't surprise me if he has a sense of humor. I believe he was a joy to be around and very caring.
