I don’t want to rehash a debate on our viewpoints, but I did want to address this:
This is not my position. I said several posts ago that I believe the whole thing is rhetorical. If a woman would be ashamed to appear bald, she should take care of her hair and keep it nice and long.
You were the one who kept asking about veils, and I simply asked you if a wig could work in place of a veil.
This is what happens when conceptually different viewpoints get tangled up in a discussion.

The reason I take covered literal is because the passage is about being covered and uncovered. Why tell her to be covered (long hair) or bald (no hair) and say both are acceptable? I don't believe Paul rendered a covering unnecessary. It may not be a salvation issue, but it still matters.
