You are right. The RCC does teach that, but I was thinking more about in this life. Many sinners recognize they are lost and heading for hell, but they believe that they will still enjoy the blessings of God in this life if they follow God principles. They will have plenty of money if they are charitable. They will have the blessings of God on their life if they bless Israel. They will have a long life if they honor their Father and Mother. For them, it is not so much about where they spend eternity as having a good life now. I was asking if that is true. Will the sinner who follows God principles have the blessings of God on their life today, in spite of the fact they are lost spiritually?
I have absolutely no scripture to back this up but I was always taught that if you follow the spiritual principles of God then you will still be blessed. Kind of like you reap what you sow idea. The thing is I've seen bad people prosper and good people prosper.... Christian and non-Christian. So, I really do not know the answer to your question. I have heard that too, and there may be truth to it. I am not 100 percent sure, so I thought it would be an interesting thing to discuss. Candance may be on the right track in saying following God principles can keep you out of trouble, and you are blessed that way. How far you can take this, I am not certain.

How can I say this, is that on one hand God owns everything, and he gave everything that man needs to exist and survive, and so on.
He owns a cattle on a thousand hills.
So in regards to men being able to be blessed in some form, whether you are a believer or unbeliever, all that is needed to sustain life is already given to us, and both believer and unbeliever can make use of his creation.
But as far as being cleansed from your sins, a man needs to repent, and be born again, and to know the way of holiness, you have to be walking with God.
Here is a very interesting scripture:
2Co 1:18-21 (18) But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. (19) For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. (20) For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. (21) Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
Notice the word in him.

I think that the blood might do a lot more than what any of us might think. There is power in the blood. I hope that we all understand that! If not for the blood of Jesus being shed for our sins, we would all be lost. The life is in the blood. They is why we are forbidden to consume blood.
Amen to this.

YEP , its that simple , GILLER , that simple . SO simple that any child of GOD can understand . This calls for yet again a reason to PRAISE THE LORD .
For TRUTH alone can only be revealed by grace . But what sayest thou . That you are the messiah , son of GOD . BLESSED are you peter, for FLESH and BLOOD cannot reveal this , ONLY THE FATHER CAN . We in an all out war now . Let all that names the name of Christ , POINT to CHRIST and all the sayings HE SAID and the apostels wrote and kept . For the enemy prowls and roams like a roaring lion . And he and his ministirs , KNOW HOW TO ALLURE and DECIEVE . LEARN JESUS and LEARN that biblical pattern well .

If a sinner gives to the poor and does good towards God's people out of respect, do you think God will bless him in this life?

If a sinner gives to the poor and does good towards God's people out of respect, do you think God will bless him in this life? It is possible, but we should be far more concerned with the next life than this one, and our eternal inheritance as opposed to things that will pass away.

If a sinner gives to the poor and does good towards God's people out of respect, do you think God will bless him in this life? Hi Solid
There's a good chance that he may receive a little help in this life to get through, but the main blessing is to have one's eyes opened and see the need for our Redeemer and be drawn to him before it's too late. This is the highest blessing for the living to take part in the first resurrection.
But on the flip side of things, when Christ returns, not all sinners will be killed. Amongst the nations there will be remnants of the gentiles also who never knew Christ... who will be spared to take part in witnessing the 1000 year reign of Christ and his saints on earth.
In my opinion, God will note who treated his children with kindness, and who treated them with contempt, so there may be a slight chance that such as these may be among those spared at Christ's return and their salvation will be given during that time of the millennium for they will know the difference between lies and truth, damnation and salvation, an unrighteous king compared to a righteous one.
Isaiah 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

There isn’t much about this in the epistles, but we know from certain incidents in the OT that God can inspire unbelievers as tools for His purposes and/or provide blessings that rub off by association.
And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. — Genesis 39:5
It’s not so much a matter that sinners curry favor with God. Moreso that they benefit from having blessed people around them. Egypt’s kindness to Jospeh didn’t prevent the plundering afterward. When the Egyptians tossed their gold to the Hebrews in Exodus, it was a liquidation of Joseph’s gain for them, making it as if Joseph hadn’t been there.

"And Laban said to him,
“Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes,
for I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake.”" - Genesis 30:27

But what happens when a nation or world does as did the men in noahs day or as in lotts and surround a house of a man to deal cruel with him , all because he corrected them . YEAH . PONDER ON that . WE must cling only more to the LORD and exhort daily to continue n the faith and warn and encourage others to do the same .

For an all inclusive world under an all inclusive mindset will in the time ahead surround houses of those who were not all inclusive and demand blood . The entire climax of it all is growing . WELL the lambs got hope no matter if we die or live . Hope THOU IN GOD and be faithful unto death .

WELL the lambs got hope no matter if we die or live . Hope THOU IN GOD and be faithful unto death . Rom 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
Joh 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: Joh 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
you see in John 11:26... it says liveth and believeth... not just the message we hear by so many, these days. and those people neither believeth or preacheth it.
we are either in Christ... or not.
