A particular sickness may be a thorn like Paul’s, or it may not. Discernment is the only way to know. Perhaps, my recurrent episodes of mouth ulcers could be a thorn.
But I am still not sure, just have to keep fight against it and endure the situation, and sometimes they let me in an uncomfortable state.
May the Lord have mercy!
One thing that brings me relief is: No ulcers in heaven.
Then, let us suffer a little while we have time!
"But let patience have its perfect work..." - James 1:4 "Therefore we do not lose heart.
Even though our outward man is perishing,
yet the inward man is being renewed day by day." - 2 Corinthians 4:16

Is it God's will to always heal? That is my question. The word of faith ministers say "yes". I used to follow them but not anymore... I have had this illness for so long and I don't know what God's will is anymore and I find myself not asking for healing or deliverance anymore it seems. Although, I do want it! Unless God speaks to you and says it is his will that you are not healed, I wouldn't give up. My feeling is that it usually is God's will to heal, but it can't be all the time or nobody would ever die. In some instances, there is a reason God chooses not to heal someone.
Does this include emotional illness?

Does this include emotional illness? Emotional illness are spiritual.
And yes, it can be healed. I have been healed from spiritual illness and negative emotional feelings.

It is irrational to be afraid of driving places yet every time I attempt to do it the fear/panic comes. Do I just expect God to one day take this fear from me in an instant or do I need to keep trying to do therapy?

Do I just expect God to one day take this fear from me in an instant or do I need to keep trying to do therapy? Do not worry if you do not know how it is going to be fixed.
"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life..." - Matthew 6:25
You have to expect that God will fix the problem for you, how it is going to be done may be beyond our comprehension.
But you will know when He starts doing it as you will see a result.
The first step is to pray, and keep doing it.
And start reading the Word, specially from the New Testament (first book is Matthew).
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find..." - Matthew 7:7
You can read the whole New Testament in few days, it is not big and it is a pleasure to read.
Seek what you need from God, and He will give it to you.
"...how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" - Matthew 7:11
Blessings!

I would continue to do what you are doing, because I think it is helping.

I know there is nothing too big for God. There are no limits to God's power or ability, but we don't always know the mind of God.

Finding the cause is often the main difficulty. Since "major" troubles like cncer, lukemia, ms, hbp, psor-eye-asus, , x-see-ma , art-writus ..... all have known and proven, simple remedies (known for over one hundred years and covered up by the drug lords ruling society) , simple things also may easily be remedied, once the cause is found - since it is not legal for licensed medical people to tell the truth about the remedies, (except the exception, when it is "convenient", or not known to the fda/ama/gov) the way to find out is to go outside the city, outside the box (the so-called 'professional'), and find someone who knows and who is willing to talk about this. (so many get shut down, arrested, or fined or threatened, many will not talk freely to people they do not know.... Anyway, long story short, it is something easy to take care of......

Do I just expect God to one day take this fear from me in an instant or do I need to keep trying to do therapy? Most people (everyone actually) have a condition all of their life, and few ever recover. Those who do recover is always by grace, through faith, and that (faith) not of themselves, it is a gift from Yahuweh (God), according to Scripture. Some do not even realize it is by grace, when they recover, because Yahuweh did not make much or any noise about the recovery - simply orchestrated it for His Good Pleasure, for His Own Reason, as written.... "some" might not be saved even, nor become saved, as that is not a requirement to be healed of such minor troubles - both believers and unbelievers are healed daily.
