Cursed is man , he shall plow the ground bythe sweat of his brow . But BLESSED are those in the second adam . THE CURE IS JESUS .
I don't know about you, but I still work by the sweat of my brow. lol
Yes , we all still work IN a fallen and cursed world . OH but let the lambs provide for one another and look out for the weak and poor amongst us . And know and understand that soon no man will be able to buy or sell , lest he has that mark . But shun it and TRUST THOU IN GOD . No matter what we suffer He will be with us , no matter what we endure by HIM and IN HIM we can overcome all temptations and trials . Shun any idea of any chip or tattoe or etc in GODS holy temple and let us trust in GOD alone and if we die , we die and if we live we live . But no fear of man and no fear of death or to suffer for his name sake . The fiery trials of our faith will only work in us what we need to grow in faith only more . I TELL US ALL, ITS A WIN WIN no matter what this world does to us . FOR JESUS IS the VICTOR and In HIM is our victory .

it sure was hot today... lol.
i have never really studied it much. from what I understand is like when the Israelites were taken away captive more generations would remain in captivity before God set them free. there may be more to it.
there are scriptures in Ezekiel that say a son will not be held responsible for the sins of his father. does held responsible mean there isnt something lingering? i really can not speak on this. I remember reading about it when i was a young believer and prayed God i want this to end with me if there are any. I really cant see God holding something against us if we are right with Him. I doubt I know all there is to know about Him either.

Here’s the deal about the effects of major sins. The Bible isn’t joking when it says sins only meet their end at the cross. ONLY the blood of Jesus cleanses sins. The human death of the parent/authority who perpetuated the sin is not enough to end the sin’s effects. There is nothing in Scripture that tells us sinful lifestyles lose their influence in a child’s mind when the parents die. To the contrary, numerous verses tell us a father’s sin will affect the family for years. Look at David’s children after Bathsheba. Look at Esau’s descendants in Edom.
You don’t need any spiritual mumbo jumbo to reject a generational curse. All you have to do is wise up and notice there’s a pattern of behavior in your family. A pattern of falling for abusive boyfriends. A pattern of divorce. A pattern of not keeping the bills paid. It could be a simple matter of learned behavior, or it could be a spiritual attack. All you really have to do is notice the pattern. Take it to the cross, confess it, reject in your own life, and then start being intentional to change it. That’s all there is to it.

In the Old Testament, there were curses placed on certain individuals and their children, and children's children on down the line. One example would be how Reuben was told he would be unstable as water, as would be all those who would come after him. Do you think that if someone's roots were traced back to Reuben, they could get free from that curse? Is there any limit to renouncing generational curses?

Is there any PROMISE in GOD'S WORD addressing this ? ( I think perhaps several) And as written: "Every Promise of God is YEAH and AMEN! in Christ Jesus ! " (He Accomplishes every one of His Promises)
