Lord bless you @butero
Thankyou for your very warm welcome. Yes, I live in England (UK) and I became a Christian in 1981 when I was in my final year in secondary School. In the earlier years before internet, a few others and my self were involved in running a Sunday School and a Christian Youth club to encourage youngsters to come to know our Lord- We continued this until I married. Although I had my full time job, later when the internet was more available I was led by God to start the ministry of 'Friends of Jesus' forum in 2013. Now, I am a full time carer to my lovely wife who also loves the Lord and in between caring for her, I try to find time to share a few post on many forums. I try to share on non Christian forums that allow me too - I have me escorted off a few forums for sharing the word of God (Which is to be expected)
Looking forward to sharing when I can and Lord bless you all...

I am glad you decided to join us. We are like a big family here. I came to the Lord back in 1982 at 17. Spiritually, we are pretty close in age. Tell us about your vision for your ministry. Is it a place you use to teach? Do others contribute?

I am glad you decided to join us. We are like a big family here. I came to the Lord back in 1982 at 17. Spiritually, we are pretty close in age. Tell us about your vision for your ministry. Is it a place you use to teach? Do others contribute? For many years my wife has been house bound and not been able to go out (Especially a church). For many months, even before my wife became a Christian, I was not getting any form of fellowship or getting spiritually fed, so one day I was searching the internet and found a very good bible teaching church (Miles from here) First Baptist Church Dallas that is to this day led by a great man of God, Robert Jeffreffs. I watched these recorded sermons each week which drew me more closer to God again. Later, after adding a few greyhounds into our life, I was trying to help a charity with there forum which was functioning on proboards. Months after, God spoke to me and instructed me create a forum. I prayed about this as I did not know how to independently create a forum let alone know what to put on a forum. Again, God just instructed me to create it (Even the name of it was instructed by Him). Ever since, many have either aloud their post to be shared or they post them selfs.... The purpose of the forum has a few reasons to being there, One to encourage Christians (Especially those like me that can't get to a church) to grow stronger in the Lord with His wonderful word and also, to bring non Christians to Christ our Lord. We are constantly looking for more ways for the board to be read around the world and in the last few years have added Google Translate on there. The vision is that God will continue to use the forum for His purpose and and that folks anywhere will find the forum and be encourage to know God more.... Although we mentioned that it is not a debate forum, it is open for sharing comments and if members want too, they can share post as well... If you want to take a look and join us then we will look forward to seeing you there - www.friendsofjesus.proboards.com

Peace & Blessings to you & your wife as you walk with Jesus
"let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." - Heb 10:24-25
