So this won't be a further stumbling block to anyone, I am just going to lock the thread with no further comments on this subject.

the part i have trouble understanding about predestination (which is a topic that hurts my brain sometimes) is scriptures like the potter and the clay stuff... God can make a vessel for honor or dishonor but then we have other scriptures that say God dont want the wicked to perish, and Jesus came saying He came to bring sinners to repentance. To me i dont believe its Gods nature to predestine someone to hell, and that seems to contradict with certain scriptures. I think the one thing we can all agree on is God does not contradict Himself. I cant seem to make up my mind on it, but this is where i am on it as of right now:
now God is sovereign and He can do what he wants with each lump of clay. and one lump of clay that always comes up in this topic of discussion is Pharaoh... God hardened his heart. So here we can see God has done this thing with people. but do we know why God did this? was it to bring about His will with Israel? or perhaps because he had made the decree to kill the hebrew babies? I do not assume to know the mind of God, and this is a hard question, one that i can not find concrete evidence on.
another such lump of clay mentioned in this topic is Judas Iscariot. According to Jesus he was the one that was lost as so to fulfill prophecy. Jesus' own words imply the man WAS saved. So right here we can go ahead and mark thru the whole osas grade A beef bologna made with real chicken lips. But anyway, Judas was obviously sorrowful for what he did. the man hung himself because he could not bear it. so, again, God is sovereign.
and this brings me to what i think the real problem is.. which is... the whole osas teaching. in a sense it teaches fatalism. everything is already determined. and thus wacky teachings have spawned from such an unbiblical doctrine from these dime a dozen jack-legged preachers such as ... repentance is of no importance.
the gifts and calling are without repentance... was judas iscariots calling to betray Jesus and be damned? there is the scripture God says he would give mens lives for you, that is lives, plural. we can argue against Pharaoh here... but its kinda hard with Judas.
and i do want to point out one thing... because of all this... despising Gods grace is a very serious offense. if not everyone is given what we as believers are given. this is something we should not take for granted. ever. even more He gives a span of time to repent of sins. thats more than fair if you ask me.

Moderators can leave notes on any locked thread. But we can end it here.
