“Ask, and it will be given to you;
seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” - Matthew 7:7
And no, it will not fall from heaven if you are not seeking.
Contrary to popular belief, spiritual development and growth has its price and you must pursue them by faith.
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him,
for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He
is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” - Hebrews 11:6
God may give you a gift, but if you do not exercise it you will not develop it.
Baby Christians will not cease to fall to temptation if they do not seek to overcome them.
Christians will not behave lovely if they do not care if they are behaving like the devil.
Christians will not stop saying that ugly, f*** word if they do not care when they say it.
“...as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby...” - 1 Peter 2:2
In other words, God will not care to bless you if you do not care about being blessed.
“For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance;
but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.” - Matthew 13:12
If you do not care about pleasing God, God will not care about pleasing you.
“...For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” - Luke 6:38
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked;
for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” - Galatians 6:7
Then, if you know you have something to improve: Seek that improvement.
Forget the word impossible, there is absolutely nothing impossible with God.
God works according to your faith, if you have faith to believe that, He will do up to that.
If you believe more, He will do more, until you finally accomplish the goal: TheImpossible!
“...According to your faith let it be to you.” - Matthew 9:29
But how to seek?! How to get an improvement from God?!
That answer is to seek, by faith.
If you love doing something wrong, then start a fasting and do your best to avoid doing that thing for a period of time you wish.
If you fail, you sincerely say to God:
Sorry, I have reached my limit. Give me more and I will use it!
“Ask, and it will be given to you;
seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” - Matthew 7:7
And God will certainly give it to you.
Then, do not be a stagnant Christian: Move forward. Always!
“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,
“The just shall live by faith.”” - Romans 1:17
Do not follow the masses. Do something different:
Don't just be a Christian, walk like one!
“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love...” - Ephesians 5:1-2
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” - Galatians 5:16
Blessings to you in Jesus' name!
