This is to answer Tabitha3319 ‘s question. Every day, we should focus our minds to be about our Father’s business. We are told to be prepared to help others, and maybe even entertain angels, when we least expect it. When the Lord orders our steps, He can guide us to have chance encounters for ministry. Many times in Scripture, the apostles made sure to be where they needed to be. Peter was praying on a certain rooftop when Cornelius sent servants to find him. If Peter had been off somewhere talking about worldly things instead of praying, who knows how long Cornelius would have been delayed in finding Jesus. We see the same with Paul. When he landed in Philippi, he went right down to the river for a church gathering, and Lydia was there searching for God. These meetings were ordained by God. When we are intentional to make ourselves available, we are more likely to have ministry opportunities. If we passively let unbelievers make all the decisions, they will quite often put us in environments/conversations where the Spirit is quenched. I am not saying you can’t ever go out with friends. But I am saying, a heavenly mindset is not something we should “switch on” when we feel like serving the Lord. We should be mentally prepared to talk about Jesus, or even meet a need, in any situation. It isn’t about whether that restaurant is loud or quiet, cheap or expensive, or anything else. It’s about whether you would be capable of entertaining angels in that moment. Use this as the test for your daily outings. “If I saw someone in pain at this very moment, and they asked me for prayer, could I confidently pray for them and talk about Jesus right now?” If you know deep down that you would be embarrassed or self-conscious to pray in that setting, you are probably not pleasing the Lord. Unbelievers will never steer an outing or a conversation in the direction of glorifying Jesus. They simply won’t. They want to be in the world, talk about the world, focus on the world, and pull you toward the world. If you let them call the shots, you will never get around to talking about Jesus. This world can supply you with a million things to do that have nothing to do with serving Jesus. As we go about our daily lives, we should be sensitive about making ourselves useful to the saints.

And please understand, I am not preaching that you can’t ever go to a sports event or go out bowling with a friend or anything like that. It isn’t about the activities we do. It’s about whether we are where we need to be, and whether we are able to glorify Jesus in that activity. You can go out golfing in the right spirit, and have a wonderful afternoon talking about Jesus. Conversely, you can go golfing to be out in the world with a sinner, and it can be a waste of time. It isn’t about the golf, it’s about the context.

We should always be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit in all that we do.

We can either serve the Lord in our daily lives, or we can serve the world. We can let Him set the agenda, or let unbelievers set the agenda. We can let Him tell us what to buy, or we can let the world tell us what to buy. Every decision the world makes for us is one less decision we made for the kingdom.

TALK about a delusion . HOW on earth can unbelievers STEER THE CHURCH in the RIGHT DIRECTION . ONLY THE HOLY GHOST CAN DO THAT . OH YES . Seeker friendly was a disaster with a AGENDA from its birth . And the agenda was to steer folks into the wrong unity and away from the original pattern and true unity IN CHRIST ALONE .

We can either serve the LORD in our daily lives , or serve the world and its men . We can either let HIM , the SPIRIT , SOUND DOCTRINE set the agenda , or let unbelievers and deceivers set the agenda . We can Hear HIS VOICE which says BUY THE TRUTH and sell it not , or we heed men who say buy the mix and heed it . Every decision the world and this false all inclusive seeker friendly unity makes for us , is only death and if one repents not , the second death at its end . We can either learn Christ , or learn what men say or claim Christ to be , and many preach another jesus which is so unlike the blblical one . OH the only connection , WHICH IS STILL NO CONNECTION , is they will say do good to the poor and etc . But when was the last time works WITHOUT FAITH in the TRUE JESUS saved or saves anyone . This stuff is highly seductive to the ones who are led by sensual emotions and NOT RATHER BY THE SPIRIT and TRUTH of EVERY WORD OF GOD . By which we can stand against the wiles of darkness and through HIM are overcomers of the evil . FOLKS have got to hurry and either COME to or return TO THE LORD ALONE . WE are RUNNING out of time . The delusion will slow for no man and will only increase in darkness and in speed and with alluring sensual ideals ROT and DESTROY the hearts of all who followed it . WE must resist the error and errors of the wicked and stand FIRM IN CHRIST to the end .

Seems to me the ones who are digging in those bibles and learning and know them and follow CHRIST ALONE and heed the doctrine are the ones not falling FOR the wrong concepts of men . BUT THEN , JESUS DID SAY , MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE and a stranger they will not follow will not heed , but rather flee from those . The same call , by grace , I have been giving and others have too , shall only remain to be sounded , COME TO CHRIST and LEARN HIM WELL in sound doctrine . For many deceivers have abounded and grow only worse and seduce the people . And we know GOD was not well pleased with those who even allowed that false prophetess to seduce his people , THUS I assure us all , HE IS NOT WELL PLEASED with these who do seduce with false seeker all inclusive unity NOR THOSE who just sit and allow it . I seen a thread get shut down with these words , WE cant let this turn into CRITICISM of pastors . That might have sounded okay , ONLY the pastors being critised , some were well known false ones . I NEARLY fell out of my seat when I seen Those words and WHO SAID IT . OH , I should say it did not surprise me , BUT if not only leaders but THE LEADER SAYS IT , THAT place is doomed. We have to warn against false ones . We cant just come to a place where warning against the false is seen as being CRITICAL . THAT IS THE WRONG UNITY at work . Pray feverent that many will hear TRUTH and flee the evil that is spreading all over the world and many churches and all other religions too . IT IS the DELUSION that leads all and will have lead all who go under it and remained RIGHT INTO the all out worship of the beast . We must only LEARN CHRIST MORE and daily examine ourselves BY the SPIRIT and SOUND DOCTRINE ensuring its CHRIST WE FOLLOW and not men with agendas .

The seeker friendly model made it comfortable for sinners to come to church, feel better about themselves, but never really get saved. They simply became religious sinners. The real Christians started moving out as the religious people moved in. Many of the ones that remained learned the ways of the unsaved and started following them instead of the other way around.

God clearly wasn't in the seeker friendly movement or it would bear good fruit.

God clearly wasn't in the seeker friendly movement or it would bear good fruit. This movment was around even before I was saved . But do you know why some folks , THOSE WHO WERE HIS , came out of it as soon as they heard it . And knew the fruit it would bear . BECAUSE by grace they knew its pattern was DEAD WRONG FROM ITS BIRTH . And thus its fruit would be death .

When any pattern arises that is contrary to the PATTERN JESUS SET and the apostles knew and taught , a lamb will know , OH DEAR ITS ALL FROM THE WRONG TREE , its from the DRY TREE and they know its fruit will thus be death . JESUS said it , MY SHEEP hear my voice and they just WILL NOT sit and heed the voice of any stranger .

I never heard the term "seeker friendly," back then, but I left the church as a result of this movement. I just knew what was taking place was not right. They were letting down all standards all of a sudden, and things they had stood for all along were no longer important. We were just supposed to accept the changes. They would preach messages about the cloud moving and stuff like that.

YE shall know what tree a man is truly of by the fruit he bears . And a GOOD TREE , cannot produce evil bad fruit NOR can the evil tree produce GOOD WHOLESOME FRUIT . Let all cling to CHRIST and every branch in HIM that bears good fruit , he will purge it that it may bear more fruit . But every branch that bears not good fruit will be cast out and are good for nothing but to be burned . THOSE are the WORDS of our LORD and as such they cannot be denied , twisted or omitted . Let all be converted as small children and trust and hope IN CHRIST and every WORD OF GOD .
