Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

That is an excellent question, but I want to think on it a bit before voting or seeking to give an answer.

Having examined the words of Jesus, my vote is that the church has been given all truth. I will try to explain why I believe that this evening, Lord willing. I am curious what others think.

I said that I was planning to come back and attempt to explain why I answered the poll question as I did. Jesus said that when he returned to heaven, he would send the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit. He would reprove the world of sin, in this case, the sin of unbelief, of righteousness, because Jesus was returning to the Father's side in heaven, and of judgment, because Satan has already been judged and sentenced to spend eternity in the lake of fire.
Jesus also said of the Holy Spirit, that when he is come, "he shall guide you into all truth." He can't guide a person into all truth if that person isn't seeking truth. It is like following a road map to get to a destination. The road map is true. It tells us how to get from point A to point B. Still, unless I pull the map out and seek the directions, I will never find out that truth, though it was there all along. It is the same way with the Spirit. He is here, and more than willing to guide us into all truth, but we have to seek that truth out. We have to dig into the Word, and we have to allow the Holy Spirit to show us the truth.
Candance did a very good video on being a good witness, so I am going to be one now concerning how the Holy Spirit guided me into truth. I had been seeking answers regarding the Book of Romans. Nobody could ever give me a satisfactory answer of what Paul was saying about his struggle with sin, and then his change of tone in Chapter 8. It was obvious they really didn't know, but were trying to act like they did. I sought guidance from the Holy Spirit. It didn't come immediately. I kept going back through that book and asking, but nothing. Then, one day, out of the blue, while listening to Romans on cd, I understood it. It was supernatural. It opened up a lot more understanding of the entire New Testament. I have had similar things happen in other areas as well, like understanding the relationship between faith and works. The Spirit is not just here to give us clues. The Bible does that. Jesus did that with parables. The Spirit has all truth, and will guide us into it, if we seek it. That is what I believe anyway.

We do not need to know everything, and there is knowledge that will only be revealed when necessary.
That is a hard thing for some to accept.
“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more
highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” - Romans 12:3
As we do not know everything, let us love one another!
“And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” - 1 Peter 4:8
“And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge,
and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.” - 1 Corinthians 13:2

I am curious about your interpretation of Paul's struggle with sin in Romans 7. I don't want to derail this thread, but I will give you a quick answer. Basically, in the chapters before Romans chapter 8, Paul was speaking of the struggle all the Jews, including himself, went through trying to keep the law of Moses without Christ. He was speaking from personal experience. With his heart, he served the law, but outwardly he would find himself failing. All those who try to save themselves by living under the law have this struggle. They can be completely sincere, but they can't do it. They could do their best, and when they failed, there was the Levitical Priesthood and animal sacrifices, but the law had so many ways to break it without meaning to, it was not possible to keep it perfectly, even if you loved it and desired to keep it. Then you come to chapter 8, and see how Paul describes how much different life is under the New Covenant. There are two answers I used to get concerning Romans. The OSAS crowd would claim that Paul spoke of the never ending struggle with sin Christians go through, which never made sense to me. The Wesleyan believers thought Paul was speaking of the struggle Christians go through before experiencing a second work of grace called sanctification, where you were freed from the bondages of sin. I never bought into that. I knew everyone was missing something. It wasn't about sanctification, but the new birth. It was a contrast between life under the law and being alive in Christ. I have probably read Romans at least 30 times over the years, trying to figure this mystery out, because I never believed the traditional doctrines. Still, I couldn't get it. Then out of the blue, this one day I was listening to Romans straight through and I understood it perfectly, like blinders were taken off, and I couldn't understand how I had missed it all of those years. I was feeling foolish, until I realized I have never come across anyone who had figured it out correctly. At least I could take some consolation in that, but I sought for a long time for that answer, probably over a decade.
