it also means to pay very close attention. Moses was told to strike the rock then speak to the rock. the other sunday at church there was a guy sitting behind me and he gave a testimony. He made it sound all beautiful, but in reality The LORD is dealing with him on some things. and its because he does not honor Gods ways completely and God is closing doors in his life to get his attention. i am fairly sure its working too. anyway, the pastor called for us to pray for him... he said stretch out your hands to him as we pray. since he was right behind me i could have stretched out my arm and laid hands on him. i almost did too, but something stopped me and the thought came... he said stretch out your hand... not lay hands ON him. one may say well thats insignificant. but is it really? we need to be very careful what we do in following instruction. God is specific with His Words. this is not a game of simon says... this is The Almighty Says.
when i decided not to lay hands the anointing came on stronger x10. when the prayer was finished he made a noise somewhere between a gasping during weeping and a huge relief being lifted. Something was moved in his heart.
had i done the wrong thing... it may have very well quenched it out.
Cletus this story you told makes me long for what churches used to be. Things must be better in Texas. I haven’t found a church in 20 years where a strong anointing really changed someone at the altar. Here on the east coast, the famine is severe. wow. count my blessings.
its hard to find a church where its all the way Spirit and Truth.

There are still small groups stretched around the world . But the falling away is quite bad everywhere . I nearly fell out my chair when you said , Things must be better in texas . They are not , as I myself dwell in texas . Its bad everywhere sister . But their are still tiny groups here and there scattered the world wide .

We have to be sensitive to whatever the Lord is calling us to do. Sometimes that means moving outside our comfort zone into something new. If God calls you to do something, he will equip you.
So long as we stay on guard and test all things . Because one of the most common things I hear from most these well known big church pastors is along the lines of , God is doing a new thing , and not be to afraid to do things differently . So on that note may all be on guard . If this seems hard to believe , just go and research some of the most well known ones under seeker friendly , nar , and others , even the pope . Thus all better be on guard . How often I have heard that , God is doing a new thing and doing things differently in these days . Only to find out that by DIFFERENT , its contrary to the original pattern . Just obey God , learn sound doctrine well and Test all spirits and do so always .

If the Spirit is moving in one place and not another, you have to figure out why. What is happening in that church that is not happening in others? Is it that this is a praying church? Do the members fast? Are the people in that church living a holy lifestyle? Are they people who are full of faith, rather than doubt? Are they following God's pattern, where others are not? Is it some of all of the above? Another thing you have to consider is whether or not a church is having a genuine move of God or just the appearance of a move of God? There is a lot we need to examine, because I would love to see a genuine move of the Spirit, but that is not something we can conjure up. God's Spirit cannot be manipulated. God moves as he sees fit where he sees fit.

It certainly doesn’t have anything to do with changing our standards or doing different worship. It’s a matter of making ourselves useful in a body that isn’t what it used to be. For 20 years as a devout Christian, I stuck it out in local churches, sitting through their music, paying for their programs, volunteering to mop their floors... and it didn’t do much good. Your money is green enough to spend, but you gotta handle your problems on your own time. I can’t keep serving that machine.

Do the members fast? Are the people in that church living a holy lifestyle? Are they people who are full of faith, rather than doubt? Are they following God's pattern, where others are not? Is it some of all of the above? Another thing you have to consider is whether or not a church is having a genuine move of God or just the appearance of a move of God? There is a lot we need to examine, because I would love to see a genuine move of the Spirit, but that is not something we can conjure up. God's Spirit cannot be manipulated. God moves as he sees fit where he sees fit.
The spirit has been moving and blowing . Let the lambs continue on IN JESUS being faithful to the final breath . And the SPIRIT says , if you want and desire souls to be saved , Just go out and do as did the early church . Many will reject and some will hear and repent . You watch , butero , and watch closely . These folks going under all these so called new and different approaches , will soon be talking of some kind of great revival . But this is never mentioned in the last days . I know this spirit and I am telling us it all bad news man . The people are simply being prepared to receive what IT THINKS is a great awakening but in reality will be the top of the falling away . If folks want people saved , THEN GET UP and so something . The SPIRIT is the same , yesterday today forever . Stop waiting on these men in pulpits who preach of some new thing , AND JUST DO THE OLD THING MAN . HERE , I got an Idea . IF about ninety eight percent of churches want to see The SPIRIT in action and the move of it and souls being saved and right evangelism , THEN THEY TRULY DO NEED to do something DIFFERENT . AKA GO OPEN UP BIBLES and STOP HEEDING MEN . THAT WOULD BE ONE HECK OF a DIFFERENT and NEW THING For most churches . ONLY it would not be DIFFERENT from the original pattern .

Two things .
JESUS could not do many etc , due to what , unbelief . most folks have strapped on hermes armour and have no trust in GOD and are just as lost as they ever were . And number two and watch out for this one . Be on big time guard . Deut chapter thirteen. Read acts about the spirit of divination too . Because I warn us all , Most are about to see an explosion of miracles and the people doing them will be ................ALL INCLUSIVE . And he deceived them by the means of the miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast . WE NEED ONLY JESUS and the ORIGINAL PATTERN . Faiths are about to be tested and tried big time . Many folks will be heeding the words of the all inclusive and saying , WOA , GOD REALLY MUST BE IN THIS MOVE WHEN IN fact , GOD IS SIMPLY allowing things to come to pass , TO PROVE whether the lambs Love HIM or not . The Only NEW thing folks need to do , IS OPEN BIBLES and flee men and test all who speak . Because that would be one heck of a NEW THING FOR MOST .

Here where I live, the saints must do their work in private home meetings away from church. Pretty much the worst thing you can do around here is to talk about your needs in a church. They’ll fill you with doubt. They’ll counsel you on Paul’s thorn, patience from trials, etc, until they’ve convinced you that God doesn’t even want to help you. People leave churches feeling worse than they arrived. When I see people healed, or the Lord move mightily in a person’s life, it is always in a private setting among friends.

Todd bently comes to mind and his talks about obeying GOD and doing something different in a new way .
And the man thought he was hearing from GOD . And it was all about the laying on of hands and etc .
HE said , GOD told him to do this new thing , instead of laying hands on her ,
put his combat boot in her face . I am telling yall , something is not right man .
WHEN all of a sudden GOD starts telling people lets do and try different ways , rest assured I have never seen it end well at all .
We have got to test all men . I don't care if a man has been solid in the LORD his whole life , TEST and keep testing everything that comes out of him .
Folks even barnabas got carried away with the dissumlation that peter himself erred in and brought in
SO I aint accusing anyone of being false . BUT I AM saying I am just a wee bit concerned about some things .

You mark my words , we will be hearing about some kind of end time great revival . It also starts really manifesting in the minds of people who heed the wrong men of today . The bible never mentions this . Sure souls will be saved . sure some will still be coming . But for the most part , its only a large falling away . And watch what else starts surfacing , DIFFERENT ways to win souls , and all the while its by means of carnal ways and means , changing the approach and pattern Leaving off the original trust thou in GOD alone pattern . Folks we gotta go out as we came in . LEARN only more the original pattern . If folks start preaching about how we got to change the church to fix it or etc , and yet those changes are more on natural means and carnal ways , WE BETTER RUN and never look back Paul was not kidding when he says they are clever men .

Without a doubt its tied right into exhortation . By grace I have known that for many years . But even apostels and preachers etc are big on exhortation . NOT SAYING or claiming to be either . ALL IKNOW is my JOY COMES FROM THE LORD and my entire desire is a all out return for all , RIGHT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL PATTERN . So lets just say I AM HAPPY WITH EXHORTING . AND ANY EXHORTATION that is truly from the SPIRIT , WOULD NEVER < NEVER EVER NEVER , contradict a WORD JESUS SAID . AINT THAT BEAUTIFUL . NOW HANDS UP AND PRAISE THE LORD .
