Cletus, does your church record their services?
i dont think so but I am not for sure. certain things get recorded on peoples phones so i would think not. and by certain things i mean like a guest speaker singing a certain song or like the kids doing something. When the Spirit is moving for real no one is trying to video on their phone.
i will ask and see. but it is a small church, i doubt there are funds for video of service. and i also dont think people are recording entire services. I have never timed them but we are there for hours.
now some of the services do get recorded with audio. i dont know which ones, but i think its special services, not every single one. And again, i do not know if the sound tech does it or if its individuals... but there is a lady who goes to the church. she has been very ill and is in the hospital and is going to a nursing home when she gets out, LORD willing. I was helping clean out her apartment and i found a CD of a service, but it was a guest speaker. and this particular speaker is good. he came not to long ago and at the end of the service he picked up a guitar and said if i look at you i am singing to you... he walked around and freestyled the lyrics, and it rhymed. it was also speaking into your life. He had looked at me and sung. it was confirmation and basically prophecy whats coming up the road for me. a sister recorded it and i need to get that from her phone, and you kinda just reminded me. so thanks.
i would just encourage everyone, including the pastor, to be open and sensitive to others speaking. either we go to church to experience one persons gifts or we go to experience more than one persons gifts. God wants to use His church... His body.

Be open and sensitive to others speaking , BUT AS CLETUS WOULD AGREE and so I ADD IT TOO , ALWAYS TEST EVERY WORD that is spoken that is aligns and agrees with SOUND pure HOLY DOCTRINE . FOR if it is contrary , REST assured , ITS NOT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT . Aint that right Cletus . NOW HANDS UP , CLETUS , HANDS UP and PRAISE THE LORD .

each member seeks The LORD so when we do come together you have a song or a word, which also means everyone gets to speak. at the church i am going to now the pastor has a lot of the time where he will ask questions or if someone has something to share and he will walk to them and give them the mic. anyone can speak. at times you can just speak up. anyone can speak up in prayer at certain times. there is order though. during the sermon its not always open mic time. sometimes... but its led by Gods Spirit. when its not open mic time everyone knows and just listens. this is one thing i really enjoy about my church. everyone is equal. no one is above anyone or like someone is more important. also anyone on the worship team can mention a song and they do it. there are songs the practice but if The Spirit is moving at a certain time and say there is prayer or something else going on anyone of them may announce a song and it just flows with the whole service. this is a function of the church. we each have a part and whether we have a word thats a scripture or its a prophetic word or a prayer or a song... one lady last sunday during prayer time prayed a short prayer and then she began to sing. the rest of us joined in. we all have a part and if its just one person doing a majority of it where does that leave the rest of us? there can be one of those service outline papers they pass out at the door... but the minds and hearts of all need to be willing and ready to yield the service to God and let Him lead the service in His own church and make whatever changes He wants to the outline... and i do not mean not brick and mortar church... but living stones church. churches that do not have this are missing out on a richness of his presence and leading. some churches may not be able to have operation like this as there may not be enough mature believers to do this. they may need one person to do a lot of it. I really like what you say here Cletus. Seems to be very balanced thoughts. I think there needs to be a time for every thing. In our time of song, any can mention a song, and we will sing it, but at the same time, we seek it to be lead of the Spirit, and if we sense that the Spirit is not leading us in a certain direction, we seek not to go towards this or that. I think one important thing is to know God's heart more.

And some times some can be not too mature in the Lord, and sometimes one can be led in the flesh, I and others seek to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, so we do not go in that direction, and saying things in the best way we can.

YES!!! and i did leave that off. at the church i go to we all judge the words spoken, but the elders will speak up quick if they judge it to be unBiblical.
so far tho, its "fairly well known" it is The Holy Spirit speaking. its thick in the air... and in your chest.
thank you for pointing this out.

God's word will always point us, in the right direction, but it is important to know how to rightly apply the word.
You can know (know about) this or that scripture, and still be in the flesh.
Things can be known by the fruit it produces, but we have to allow the fruit of the Spirit to be produced in us, through being submissive to him, and let him work in us.
Some people are good at acting, and it may look like they are producing fruit, but in the end, the fruit, always shows up of what kind it is.
It is important not just to discern things concerning others, but also about ourselves, because sometimes we can fall into things such as pride, and not always realize right away that we did, and it may take some time for us to get to seeing this or that, even if you have grown a lot in the Lord.
What I will say is be sensitive to the Lord.

What I will say is be sensitive to the Lord. THE KEY IS BEING BORN AGAIN . And GOD puts such a love on our hearts and HE PUT me in ONLY ONE BOOK . He will not leave nor forsake , ONLY we better heed HIM . Learning the bible with great love , sure does make one wise unto salvation through our faith in Christ . AND we test all things we hear , AGAINST the already WRITTEN WORD . I have seen way too many So called be sensitive to the LORD only to find out , THEY SO SENSTIVE their message is DENYING HIS WORD . NOW that is no place a man wants to be . HOWEVER we do listen , we do , but we always test all things . NOW HANDS UP GILLER . I WANNA see a praise fest to the LORD . BE extra encouraged and let all our HOPE BE IN THE LORD .

When I say sensitive to the Lord, i do not mean just be sensitive to anything one might consider the Lord, but to be sensitive to what he says, to be sensitive to what he is trying to do in us, which will never contradict the word.
If someone claims that they are being sensitive to the Lord, and it contradicts the word, that is not sensitivity to the Lord.
But we also have to remind ourselves that we have not attained, and do not know everything, we go from faith to faith as the word of God says.
Let us boast in the Lord.
