Do you think I question tithing because of covetousness? Do you think I’m serving mammon? Tell me a good reason not to tithe, considering the church/ministry is of God. That’s not an answer to my question.

Just want to know of a good reason to go against tithing. Tithing as a requirement for church membership or salvation is nowhere in the New Testament. The word tithe does not appear after the crucifixion. Not one Christian from Acts to Revelation was told to tithe. Not one. People I know who question tithing on serious doctrinal grounds are also very generous. They don’t oppose tithing because they love money; they oppose it because they love truth. They give to meet needs all over the place. They give when other people don’t give. They give more than 10% in many cases. But simply because they do not give 10% to a building, they are somehow in bondage to mammon. I can show you people I personally know who are faithful tithers who never did get out of poverty. I’ve seen people go hungry for the money to pay tithes. I’ve seen people get behind on their bills so they could tithe. Not everyone who does the tithing thing sees blessings. It isn’t a guarantee, no matter how much faith these church members have. Churches are extracting a monthly membership fee from people who cannot afford it, and then calling them thieves and robbers when they decide to buy food instead of tithe. There is nothing godly about that.

Watch this preacher talk about being nice to gays, then return to listen to how he eviscerates people who don’t tithe. He clearly thinks lack of tithing is a worse sin. Gays need to repent, their life style is completely unacceptable. “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” - Leviticus 18:22
As for tithing, I believe those who preach against it and causes people to stop doing it are robbing God and consequently working against His ministry.
A reason for people to go against tithing is covetousness, the love of money, which is idolatry. And most people in the world hate and attack tithing.
“...You cannot serve God and mammon.” - Luke 16:13
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.” - Malachi 3:10
We should for sure be givers . Nowhere has this been omitted . But this man is a charlatan . And I would not give one cent to his church . Due to the fact he is false . Give alms and give to your church if it is in accoradance with teaching the pure truth . But don't ever give a dime to men that are false . Look how careful paul was about this whole thing . He said have it laid up already , so it would not even appear as a matter of covetousness . YET these men are big on covetousness , they talk about , they want that MONEY and they want it now . They false and I wont give them a penny . I will expose them for exactly what they are . And that for the sake of any , so that no man , woman , or child will ever even THINK about looking in their direction . Does this make me seem as a big ugly hateful monster . I bet to most it does . But watch this , I Wont budge one ounce from my mindset about this . That man is false and let no man while the earth spins give a dime to that man , in fact don't even listen to a word he has to say . Sounds kinda harsh don't it . But believe me , its dire needful that man get exposed for what it is and the spirit behind it . This man does not belong to GOD , he is no sheep , he is a wolf . Make no mistake , I don't want the guy to burn in hell , I wish he would repent , But till it does , IT GETS EXPOSED BIG TIME . And what I say to one I say to all , DONT GO anywhere near it , don't give it a dime and expose it for the sake of others . I know , I sound way too serious , but this aint even the half of it , We ought to be at a minimal this serious and if not , EVEN MORE SERIOUS . But thanks for the reminder my friend of many letters . YES we should be GIVERS and ROB not but rather give and give freely . YOU RIGHT LETTERS . we should be . BUT NOT TO THIS MAN or any false one .

Just want to know of a good reason to go against tithing. There is no reason at all to go against tithing . But to false charltons they get not a dime . Remember it is actually written , cursed is the man who gives to the rich . Ever wonder why , THEY HEAPERS and STEAPERS . If you have a church , then give and do it cheerfully . But if that church is false , JUST do alms to the poor or find some who actually preach JESUS and not rick warren style witnessing , and give to their mission . Tithing , the same as man with man or woman with woman , IT HAS NOT been omitted . Just let us give cheerfully . And those who give sparingly will reap sparingly , Giving is a wonderful good thing . And if any has and gives not , specially when he sees one has a need , THE LOVE OF GOD does not exist in them . We should be cheerful givers . Look at the early church , they actually sold lands , houses and etc and brought the money in the TRUE apostles who DID NOT HEAP and STEAP and live better than the flocks . I catch a preacher that heaps and steaps and focuses on money , ITS GETTING REBUKED . JESUS did not live better than his flock , ABRAHAM took care of his people . Moses had the same stuff all else did and took care of the people . These men and women of belial do no such thing . AND the only thing they getting from me , IS REBUKING if so be I get led to even step foot In their church . Its a charlatan dressed in strange apparel , and he gets exposed on my watch . And I pray that the LORD give me utterance that I may speak exactly as I should at all times . OH , I know , he smiles real big and has those folks deceived . But its only because THEY WANT and covet his lifestyle , its why they give and its why they sit under him . But a sheep , DONT SIT UNDER THAT MAN . takes one whiff and starts exposing , IF so be its had its senses excercised . IF not and its just a babe early on , IT FEELS EMPTY when men like that talk . BELEIVE ME , BY Grace I know exactly what I am saying for by grace alone I experienced this very thing . NO lamb gonna eat from that trough and when it becomes seasoned it will expose such men .

Tithing is another one of those issues that divides the church. I would imagine there are different reasons for not believing in tithing. For some, it might be covetousness. For others, it is a sincere belief that tithing was something that was for the purpose of supporting the Levitical Priesthood and the temple. Some who don't believe in tithing give more than 10 percent. There is also the question of who do we tithe to? The local church or God? We shouldn't judge people based on whether or not they tithe. If you want to discuss the topic from scripture, it should be done without accusing people of things like being covetous. I will say this, if a church leader is telling members they either tithe or don't come back, that person is covetous and a disgrace to the Kingdom of God. It is like the Pastor that once told his congregation if they don't tithe, they shouldn't come to him when they need prayer. Those people are users. They are only in the ministry for gain, and they look at people only based on the value they can get from them.

There is nothing godly about that. You are talking about worldly churches. No one is or should be forced to tithe.
If people does not want to help God ministry, it is their choice, just do not try to stop others that give with a joyful heart.
Tithing is not meant to make people rich, there are people who spend a large fraction of their income with medication and drugs and they think all is fine.
And if someone says, start tithing and you health will be restored... Done, they are called sons of Satan just because they touched on money.
And no matter if testimony of people shows that they are blessed after tithing, those people will always insist in going against it.
Let the people tithe and give to God. I do not see a problem.
Jesus never went against giving, and tithing is giving.

RIGHT ON . PAUL never did such a thing . Not because he had not power to do so , BUT IN NO WAY was he going to hinder the gospel . THAT MAN IS A GREEDY DOG . NO man of GOD would be so focused on money that he would tell folks GIVE or get out . PAUL never ONCE Did that , and if we watch , all the apostels never LORDED this over the flock . YES it is true that the laborer can eat of the flock . BUT PAUL would often not even so call charge them , Lest the gospel be hindered for any reason . FOLKS need to learn JESUS , IF THEY DO , THEY GONNA GIVE , believe me it will happen . And yes they should be reminded to give , BUT GIVING the tithe to a man should not be the greedy focus . IN FACT the tithe does not ALL GO to the preacher . ANY preacher would know this . THEY would KNOW and live quite cheaply off the flock and give every available cent to those who REALLY DID LACK . LOOK at the heart of the apostels . THEY never lived ONCE WRONG in this account . Paul , flat out made it a point to never abuse his power in any way . AND THESE GREEDY DOGS DO , they ABUSE it ALL the time . And will be exposed for it along with their doctrines of dung . Sounds harsh . NOT REALLY , I aint blinded one yet , I aint prayed destruction on the flesh of one yet . PAUL DID . WE NEED to fast learn the true pattern . WE GOTTA , if we are seasoned and are looking out for the welfare of the people , EXPOSE anything that contradicts the original pattern. AND understand we do hold the keys , WE do have all that is needed to safe guard the flock and ensure its growth IN CHRIST . BUCKLE UP and DOUBLE DOWN , because we will have an assault on this place with crafity ones in the days ahead . AND we better do all to protect those we love and look out for one another , and above all things HONOR GOD IN ALL WE DO OR SAY .

And if someone says, start tithing and you health will be restored... Done, they are called sons of Satan just because they touched on money. And no matter if testimony of people shows that they are blessed after tithing, those people will always insist in going against it. Indeed, they do not mind that Satan drains all their money through diseases, drugs, and vices.
Instead they think that to hold 10% of God and losing 100% to Satan is a wiser choice.
I just feel sorry for them. I hope their money is helping them, but it clearly is not.

If I found a good local church in my city, I would gladly contribute. In the meantime I give to other places. Most of the churches are not using the money to advance the Kingdom of God. They are hoarding it, or using it to enrich the leaders. We should give to God, but not to places that aren't really serving the Lord.

Your right on a lot of what you just said , so please , please hear what I am about to say . What did peter tell simeon . YOU THOUGHT the gift of GOD could be purchased with money . NO LEADER would ever GIVE the people the notion that if they GIVE MONEY they will be healed . We do not pay money to those charltons . Everything else seemed okay . But beware of stuff like that . YES it is true he who gives sparingly will reap sparingly and he who gives bountifully , bountifully . ONLY let not our minds BE ON MONEY or we in dire trouble . cause that means we giving because in truth we just love money and want MORE of it . Same with the gifts , LOOK at the one prophet , When that man tried to pay him for being healed , HE SAID NO WAY and what happened to his own servant who later chased after the man , and said OH yeah my LORD changed his mind , we do want some ....... HE WAS GIVEN THE LEOPRASY . NO gift , no healing , no nada should come a price tag or beware its a root of bitterness and many are snared in it now even as we speak . SO just heed that one part , LETTERS . You are right we should be givers and your right , not to those wordly churches , but to the true ones .

I would never try to talk you or anyone else out of tithing. I don't like to judge people as to what motivates them to believe we don't need to tithe. Having spent time looking into the issue, I am not 100 percent sure tithing is required by God. I wouldn't mind spending time discussing it further, looking at all the scriptures about tithing, and trying to come to a place where we know of a greater certainty.
