Certain man was walking in the world, then a certain day he found something new.
Something that shined brightly, so brightly that it caught his attention, and he thought:
I never saw anything that shines so much. I will investigate it more thoroughly.
When he came near that light he realized it was a way to something.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” - John 14:6
Then he thought in his heart:
I have to follow this way, it is indeed the way of life.
But there was a problem, he was with a huge baggage (of sin) and the way was very narrow,
so narrow that it would be hard for him to pass through with nothing, let alone with all his baggage.
Then he immediately started to mourn and lament saying:
Life in there is indeed good. But how will I enter?! I love all my baggage, I cannot forsake it.
Then he said in his heart:
The way is indeed good.
But I and my baggage cannot pass, I will go back to explore the world.
And he thought:
I will continue to explore the world.
Perhaps, I can find a better way that will have room for me and my precious, loved baggage to enter.
Then, while he was in his way of returning to the world, a great fire appeared to him willing to destroy him.
“...he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” - John 3:36
And he could hear a voice from the fire that said:
Why are you returning? If you do that, My fire will consume you.
“...the day which is coming shall burn them up,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“That will leave them neither root nor branch.” - Malachi 4:1
“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.” - Revelation 3:19
Then the man was filled with fear and believed the voice coming from the fire.
“Now therefore, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us...” - Deuteronomy 5:25
and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.” - 2 Thessalonians 1:8
“And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” - Luke 23:41
And the man immediately came to his senses and decided:
I will do what I can so I can pass through that narrow way.
“...Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” - John 6:68
It does not matter the cost, I will have to pass through it, it is perfectly good and beautiful anyway; but I am evil - the man thought.
when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.” - Matthew 13:45-46
Then the man started to burn his baggage saying:
I burn you lest I be burned, in Jesus' name!
Then he tried to pass through the narrow way and he still couldn't. And he wondered why.
Then a voice came to him saying:
“...whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.” - Luke 14:33
Then the man was very saddened because it was his heaviest, bigger, and more precious baggage he had.
Then the Lord answered and said to him:
“But He said,
“The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”” - Luke 18:27
And then God immediately gave him strength to handle that heavy and big baggage, his most loved one; and he burned it.
Then he tried to pass through the narrow way once again, but he still couldn't - What?! You may be wondering.
But it was because he was still with his clothes and accessories, so he just left them behind.
“For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.” - 1 Timothy 6:7
And then he tried to enter through the narrow way again and...
“You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.” - John 15:14
say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’ ”” - Luke 17:10
And that man enjoyed his life in that narrow way, and he realized that it was indeed much better than the old ways of the world.
“God is not a man, that He should lie...” - Numbers 23:19
“...I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” - John 10:10

“Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”” - Hebrews 10:38
May God bless you in Jesus' name!
