I felt this afternoon like the Lord impressed on me the need to pray for each and every member of Narrow Way. I know some have told me they are dealing with different things in their life, and I have my own battles with the forces of darkness. I believe that this group poses a threat to the devil, and he is going to come against us. As such, I have made a personal list of all of our members and am making it part of my regular prayer list. James 5:16 says...
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed: the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
That is my prayer request, that we take the time to pray for each other on a regular basis. To all my brothers and sisters at Narrow way...
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee. The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: the LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

Thank you. And may your prayers also return to you two-fold. Have you thought to invite Gandalf? I like his humility and wisdom.

Thank you Butero, I will pray for all members also. Yes the forces of darkness are hard at work. I don't know if this is the place to post this, but I am getting this off my chest for the first time with brethren.
It seems like when I try to help people and bring them to the Lord that they go down not long after in a real bad way. A girl I know, who I do not socialise with anymore because she brought some trouble into my house, and it hurts too much to say, has been going through a real rough time with alcohol. She has since December had one of her girls taken off her and not handling it well. I hear through the grapevine how this woman has let herself go in her despair. Her mother was pleading with everyone who knows her to help her, as she had become real violent and not taking care of herself. I wrestled with it, because if I let her back into my life, trouble may arise again. So I fasted and prayed for her for nearly 3 days. After my fast finished, I heard through the grapevine that she agreed to go to Rehab finally. Next thing you know she is on the mend trying to get her life back in order and seeking counsel. I know this is not the counsel she needs, but counsel of the Lord, however it's a start. Two weeks ago, at a little gathering at my daughters house, I was surprised to see her there. She was all sobered up and happy to tell me that she hadn't had a drink in 6 weeks. She looked healthy and pretty and so happy, but something was telling me that I had to grab the bull by the horns. I felt the HS come over me, and we had the best talk ever. I tried to encourage her and let her know that no matter what we've done, Jesus is full of mercy and quick to forgive. I explained to her how much we need Jesus because this battle we are fighting, no man is qualified to help other than him, our Lord. I explained about the unclean spirits and how they always want to give us a reason to destroy ourselves, and they will use whatever situation to bring us into despair. She told me that the only thing she took to Rehab with her was her bible and she loved reading it. We hugged and she really enjoyed our conversation as far as I could tell. I could see her eyes were not empty any more. I felt so much love for her. I was bold too, and told her the Lord doesn't like us to fornicate, and when we do this he removes his spirit far away from us. She didn't know but I had to tell her to keep her temple clean for him so that he can break down all the strongholds. I told her it was a journey, and we don't change overnight, but we have to read to find out his will, and he will guide us from there showing us the difference between good and evil.
When I got home, I thanked the Lord with all my heart for answering my prayer and for bringing me face to face with her and giving her the right guidance.
The very same week, she was back there, on the grog again, and now is worse than before, so I hear. She has smashed up her car, and her house. These demons don't want to let her go, and they took that bit of hope she had regained right off her again,... so fast. I feel miserable and so sad for her. She was sober when the truth was presented to her, but chose the other path. I don't want to be consumed with this, but not sure if it's my duty to do more.
This is only one example of someone I've tried to help ending up worse. A few of the others in the past have ended up dead through drug overdoses, and one suicide and the rest in a worse state and it guts me. All have transgressed against me, but I forgave and put pride aside, and helped out of love trying to bring them to the Lord Jesus Christ in the most gentle positive way.

All have transgressed against me, but I forgave and put pride aside, and helped out of love trying to bring them to the Lord Jesus Christ in the most gentle positive way. I can imagine how you may feel. You may even think that you have done something wrong.
"For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things." - 1 John 3:20
But I do not believe it is the case. The Lord Himself did many wonders and miracles to many and there were still those who did not believe.
"Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes." - Luke 10:13
It is a war of faith, and without believing and trusting in Him it is impossible for us to overcome.
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." - Ephesians 6:12 God bless you in Jesus' name!

Having read what happened with your friend, here is my opinion. She counted the cost of being a Christian, thought it was too high, and went back into the world. You are not responsible for what happened to her after you told her the truth. I have had friends that I told the truth about things in their life, and I never heard from them again. I went so far as to say that even if they don't listen to my advise, I would still be their friend, but I felt I had to be honest with them. You have no blood on your hands. As for your friend, all any of us can do now is pray for her. If you want to give her first name and request it be added to the prayer requests, I will add it to my list. Don't let this get you down. It is not your fault.

Thank you Butero. Her name is Jacinta. She had a baby to my cousin but they are no longer together. The day I met her properly she was interested in books about angel worship and I had the opportunity to discuss the scriptures with her. After that she would come over once a week and I would teach her the scriptures, giving her a crash course. This lasted for about 5 months. She loved what she was hearing and was learning fast. Not long after she had problems with my cousin. They went on a holiday to Bali and she told me she saw in the mirror a very white man with a huge round bald head looking at her. She said the head was enormous and frightened the living daylights out of her. It was a spirit. After that some strange things started happening, and she was not the same. Looking back, this is when it all started. She fought with my cousin the whole trip and left him when they returned. He is still broken hearted. Since then, boyfriend after boyfriend.. Very attractive and likes attention. Always looking for love but forever disappointed. This was about 6 years ago now that this spirit showed himself. Yes please pray, her life and soul is completely taken. If I cannot reach her, please pray that someone else can. Ask the Lord to send someone. Urgent.

I have added her to my prayer list. She could be oppressed or even possessed. Do you know if she ever actually accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior? We need to unite together and pray for her deliverance. If you could get her to a Spirit filled minister with a deliverance ministry, that is what she really needs, if she wants to be set free. If not, the devils will simply return bringing more with them. Praying.

The LORD hears our prayers , notice he moved in her to bring her to repentance. But the thing is my dear sister , If one just keeps rejecting The goodness of GOD , they often get far worse . this I have personally noticed. We can pray and point them to the LORD but in the end they have to either reiceve it , or they reject it . God is very merciful. But he don't FORCE anyone to do anything . You can keep praying for her . But don't let it consume you at all. You loved sister. You are .

That is right butero . the church is at work . and where two or more are gathered , HE IS THIER . we going to be in agreement on this . I have this idea too. we can also set up certain prayer and fast days . In time we can pick certain hours for certain people to be praying in a chain like they DID in acts . THE LORD heard that prayer for peter, that the church made without ceasing . An angel itself awoke him and led him out . We the church peoples and my soul is on fire for the Lord . So we will be praying for one another and feasting on the truth.

Thank you Butero, I will pray for all members also. Yes the forces of darkness are hard at work. I don't know if this is the place to post this, but I am getting this off my chest for the first time with brethren. [Edited for space] When I got home, I thanked the Lord with all my heart for answering my prayer and for bringing me face to face with her and giving her the right guidance. All have transgressed against me, but I forgave and put pride aside, and helped out of love trying to bring them to the Lord Jesus Christ in the most gentle positive way.Sister...You were a blessing to that girl, and everyone else with whom you shared the Gospel. Don't ever think that you aren't doing the Lord's work! You did all you could do and are in right standing in the eyes of God. Some of those who died may have indeed rejected your teachings, and therefore, the Lord Himself. BUT-- I can't help but feel badly for them because being under the enemy's influence can be so strong that it's nearly impossible to receive the Lord, even if they wanted to. ( Notice that I said "nearly" impossible, not "completely", for we know that anything is possible with God) Especially with addictions and fornicating...those are serious strongholds. I'm under spiritual attack myself (which I will post later), and Sister, you don't know how grateful I would be to have a believer like you by my side!
The increasing attacks on God's own people makes me think that we are indeed living in the End Times. Satan must sense this too, and he's ramping up his game plan. He's always gone after the lost, but going after the saved is bold and shows his fear & desperation. His time is becoming shorter. Please allow this to encourage you, Sister. You are faithful and doing the right thing, but you aren't going to win every battle and every soul. All you can do is try. And that is what you're doing! Amen? May God bless you, comfort you, and give you strength in your time of need. Melissa
