Hello everyone, I just wanted to share some Scripture that the Holy Spirit just led me to write down, meditate, and rejoice over and I wanted to share with you all here.
I really really loved this verse this morning...drink it in, soak in it. God is going to do it, we don't have to stride, we just follow him and he will direct it..... The other day, I was praying and trying to engage in using my imagination to talk with Jesus, I imagined meeting Him at the beach. I tried to imagine the peace and soft sand on my feet ( that was hard for me) when all of a sudden, I saw a boat near the shore and Jesus got in and wanted me to go with Him. In no time we were out in the deep, and He got out. He held His hand out for me to come too. I went and we were walking on the water. He was in front of me, and I heard in my spirit that if I followed and stepped where ever He stepped, I would not sink!
Philippians 2:13 For it is God who worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, who always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
blessings,

Thank you for the good scriptures, but I do want to caution you about something. Be very careful about using your imagination to see Jesus. There is a difference in having a vision of Christ and using imagery to see him.
I once heard this story about a person being told how they could meet with Jesus. They were told to imagine going into a building and getting on an elevator. They were to go to a certain floor, and when they got out, they would meet with Jesus. They were told never to do this more than once in the same day. The person said they used their imagination and indeed did meet with Jesus. They spoke of how wonderful the experience was. One day, they ignored the warning and went to meet with him a second time, and at first, it was wonderful as all the times before, but then, the one they thought was Jesus was transformed before their eyes into a demon, and they were tormented and unable to leave for what seemed like hours. Finally, this person escaped. It was a demon all along that just looked like the Lord. I don't think using imagery is the way to meet with the Lord.
It is a common practice these days that people use to try to receive healing of the mind from bad things in their past. A lot of psychiatrists use it. They will tell people to use their imagination to see themselves putting hurts in a box and then burying the box or throwing it into the sea and things like that. While it does seem to help some individuals, it is more of a new age practice than something Biblical. It is like the world's counterfeit for the real thing, so I just want you to be cautious about doing things like that.
