But anyhow, I just want to know, and I am not saying this in a bad way, just want to know if there is a point you are trying to make with this?
Well for the most part, I think that is were God is leading most people who are thirsty, into gathering in houses. Now of course if the group gets bigger they can rent a hall and so forth. But I believe that most of what is called mega churches, are not of God. If there are some that are of God it is not many. And I talk with a certain friend of mine now and again, and he tends to mention that if a church gets too big, maybe form many churches, because it is hard for one man to manage a mega church, and of course appoint many leaders. |

Believe me Giller, the mainstream system is hitting the message hard out there that little home groups like yours are invalid. If I told someone like Jason Daye about your home church, he would say it’s a bunch of sour grapes from petulant prima donnas who stomped out of church because they couldn’t get their way. You of course don’t care what Jason Daye thinks, but that propaganda is coming hard and heavy on young people still in the system. I recently read a blog post where one of the main stream leaders ranted about those who quit the system. He said “the first five books of the Bible show us how God feels about complainers.” Thousands if not millions of unhappy Christians are still in the system, petrified that they’ll be apostate if they leave. Is that someone you know Jason Daye? |

What do you think about mega churches like the one Joel Osteen Pastors? It is clearly personality driven, but does it remain as long as he lives and remains Pastor, or does it eventually start losing members and downsize? I don't know what keeps people going there.
Deep down you already DO know the answer to what keeps people going there .
And when this scriptures reminds you and the SPIRIT , you will know you have always known WHY folks do as they do and what keeps them going there .
They shall heap teachers , having itching ears . Folks in general DO want socilalization . In the case of lukewarm christains they want the socialization AND a means of FEELING saved while having those ever itching ears . They want to belong to something and feel saved too . This is why folks will wander from church to church , till they find that church that just tickles their ears . True Christians also desire fellowship , and they too will wander from church to church , BUT ITS BECAUSE they LOOK for a church THAT PUTS JESUS above all , and Desire fellowship with THE TRUTH and all who are of it . Whereas the many desire fellowship but not truth , just truths and the desires of their own hearts to be satisfied by sensual teachers .

Correct you are dear sister . I have seen and heard this ever increasing . SO I have a question . IF they are really beginning to believe this , that folks like us are renegades , rogues , apostate , sour grapes , petulant prima donas and the like of that hard propaganda , HOW easy will it be in the days ahead to convince these groups , as well as the world , That we are simply nothing more than dangerous potential terroists in dire need of at the very least round ups and reeducation , and even death . Exactly . THIS is has been the desired goal of the dark adversary and he is using men and women of all religions and the world to bring this about . IT was never about world peace and unity , it was never about love , though his men and women cried these words to bring unity . ALL this is about , IS Satan roaming to and fro making ready a world to devour and kill his most hated enemies , THE TRUE SAINTS , THE TRUE LAMBS . THAT IS ALL THIS IS INCLUSIVE SEEKER FRIENDLY SOCIAL GOSPLE is really all about . POWER and CONTROL and Desired worship and death to all lambs .

AND LOOK AT THE PROPOGANDA and HOW it began against the jew . HOW WORDS and ideas and SUGGESTIVE THOUGHT

I’d like to touch on the issue of why conventional churches close and people run to the cool megachurch down the road. Denominations purposely use their best talent and their financial backing to favor seeker friendly models. In fact if you look at these huge mega churches with these cool pastors, most of them are actually denominational churches. They are running the SBC and many others. Traditional churches are given lackluster pastors who were sent there to manage a closure. They can’t get funds to redecorate, and they don’t dream of asking the bosses to send them a smart young pastor. Meanwhile, an entrepreneur new church planter moves in across the street, offering everything from carnivals to movie nights. You complain to your denomination boss, and he does nothing. Ambitious young adults who visit the new church are promised quick promotion. Big worship team, big youth department, lots of leadership jobs available. Denominational money is paying for it. They consider an investment to get a profitable church up and running. What can traditional churches do? Unless they have the next apostle Paul in their midst, they can’t make it. What can traditional churches do ............ I know what lambs can do , GET OUT of these infected places and do all as did the early church and contend for the true faith , no matter what the cost . Lambs will just have to gather in small groups with other lambs in the days ahead . Society , all religions and these social clubs which consider or call themselves christains are all headed in one direction . RIGHT into the delusion that leads unto the beast and they as one with the world and all her religions WILL COME AGAINST US in time ahead . SO what can the lambs do . FOLLOW JESUS and no matter what the cost , BE FAITHFUL UNTO HIM even unto death . Course my dear sister ALREADY KNOWS ALL THIS . But it is what is and what is coming and shall come against us in short time . Should we be afraid , should I have fear , HECK NO , LIFT THOSE HANDS AND PRAISE THE LORD , OH LIFT THOSE HANDS ON HIGH AND PRAISE HIM . FOR whether we live or die WE ARE HIS and to live is Christ and to die is only gain . AND lest any forget .........REMEMBER , ITS A BLESSING OF GREAT HONOR to suffer , be persecuted FOR JESUS SAKE . AS JESUS ONCE said , BLESSED ARE YOU when men shall hate you , separate you out , persecute you , etc . BLESSED . And they rejoiced that they had been counted worthy to SUFFER SHAME FOR HIS NAME . Yep , not only is it a waste of time , the odor of even its idea is so deadly to the nose of a lamb, that just a hint of it in the wind can bring on serious and extreme gagging . For a lamb desires for , hungers for and can only be FILLED BY , T R U T H . Guess that is plain enough .

"Traditional churches" is what gave rise to this in the first place. The true remnant church is not going to look like traditional church at all but will be transformed having died to the flesh in the wilderness......she will come up from the wilderness "leaning" on the arm of Christ (His strength - spirit - perfected in her weakness and putting on the mind of Christ). Wilderness is a dry and barren place tailor-made to put our flesh to the death. The corn of wheat must be buried in the grown to die before it can bring forth a crop. Sng 8:5Who is this coming up from the wildernessLeaning on her beloved?”“Beneath the apple tree I awakened you; (Tree of Life - Spirit) There your mother was in labor with you, (Heavenly Zion...the Jerusalem that is above, of the Spirit....labour pains are trials and tribulations of the wilderness) There she was in labor and gave you birth.(giving birth to spirit)
Hos 2:13-17
And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.

For that was idolatry....spiritual fornication and adultery that Hosea's wife was engaged in. And after the wilderness she will no longer think of the Lord in terms of being a Master, but as her Husband....maturity, having grown up and left childish ways of flesh and carnal mind behind.....and no longer seeing righteousness as a checklist of "do's and don'ts or else", but serving in the new way of the Spirit, which is out of love. Jer 5:31

A question was posed on why seeker places outperform traditional places, and I explained from a business perspective why seeker churches have a talent/money advantage. Purely in terms of economics, traditional churches are being managed into closure.
No one knows exactly what the ready church will look like at His coming, but I highly doubt that what the Word says about overseer offices will stop being true.

A question was posed on why seeker places outperform traditional places, and I explained from a business perspective why seeker churches have a talent/money advantage. Purely in terms of economics, traditional churches are being managed into closure. No one knows exactly what the ready church will look like at His coming, but I highly doubt that what the Word says about overseer offices will stop being true. I shared that to encourage us to keep on growing and have our minds transformed in the way we understand church. Yes, there are overseer gifts in the church for sure....just that traditional churches have a mindset that puts a schism between greater and lesser gifts, which scripture says we are not to do. (AKA clergy-laity division in various forms and degrees). |
