Well that raises an interesting question....the internet might be regarded as uncharted territory, it's just not the same as being physically present. But off the top of my head I'm leaning to the perspective that the church is the whole entire body of believers worldwide, one church without walls.....so a Christian woman on the internet who calls herself a teacher and teaches women....is part of the church and usurping teaching authority that is only given to men, from how I am understanding this. I used to think that women could teach women (authoritatively), but from watching some on you-tube, it came to me one day that the woman is supposed to learn from the man. We don't exclude women from the preaching and set them under women teachers and preachers in the church....there is just no biblical example or instruction for doing that, that I'm aware of. Women all learn together with the men, from male teachers/preachers. Since Eve was the one deceived...wouldn't that apply just the same whether a woman is trying to teach either men or women? What comes to mind is what it says in Titus 2:1-5 about the aged women teach the younger women about topics that pertain to them. I've always taken that to mean to teach and admonish the younger in an informal motherly relational way rather than in any kind of authoritative capacity.

Women can exhort each other on modesty, virtue, charity, and right living. Women should not make up their own doctrines nor be the sole source of doctrinal teaching for other women. YouTube is in fact full of aggressive/strong-personality women who exalt themselves as authoritative ministry leaders. They tend to be shrill, pushy, highly extroverted, and overly confident. They claim they want to reach other women, but they know men are watching and they do nothing to deter it.
Yes there are times when a sister can ask a doctrinal question in confidence, because it’s on an intimate topic, or she has no else to ask, or she admires another sister’s faith, or something like that — but by and large, women need to learn from men ministers. That’s why my videos here focus on charity, fellowship, etc. I’ve never wanted people here to see me as a doctrinal expert.

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. — Titus 2:3-5
There’s no other way to take this, but older women teach the younger ones how to keep house. Nowhere in Scripture do we see a woman teaching doctrine. Nowhere does Paul suggest a woman can teach doctrine.

I am not really disagreeing with you, but I have always looked at this as doctrine, as these teachings come straight from the Bible, but they are specific in nature. In other words, they are not just teaching anything, but issues directly about women's issues. It is the older women teaching the younger women how to conduct themselves.

Are you saying you consider the topic of proper marriage to be a doctrinal issue?

Are you saying you consider the topic of proper marriage to be a doctrinal issue? To me it is. Hopefully the teaching is coming straight from the Bible.

show me one place in the bible a woman is referred to as more than a helper in the ministry. there are prophetesses. yes.
but serious. go thru the whole NT... look up the words in the greek used to describe a womans "position". I dont think the word position is the best choice of words but i am super tired and another suitable word thats better does not come to mind at the moment. no where is a woman a pastor in the bible. bottom line... its not Gods order. what i have heard is people saying well, to many men have abandoned their post and so God chose to use a woman. ahem. Gods arm is shortened? Can He not raise up stones into children of Abraham?... that is children of promise? and here is the kicker... does God compromise his order? Has He ever compromised His order for you? not for me He has not. I expect He wont either.
now having said that... women are used of God. women have edified me greatly by their ministry. women were praised by the apostles in the NT for their service to the church.
The Book says... a good woman who can find? Her value is far above rubies.
