Hello all at Narrow Way. I am with you all so far in Genesis, and adjusting to the old King James. In the creation, was God naming this planet earth, or just calling the dry land earth? The way it was worded, I couldn't tell? If I have other questions about what we are reading, is it ok to post them in this thread? You can post any other questions or comments here or you can start another thread.

The Bible doesn't refer to earth as being a planet. Scientists have been lying to us. Hello Plain Truth. I don't know if we have ever met? As we have seen from the scriptures already, the Bible does say that God called the dry land earth, and the waters He called seas. I can't argue with that, but what do you mean about scientists lying to us? Do you believe we are living on something different from a planet? Are you a believer in a flat earth?
Regardless, welcome to Narrow Way, and if you get a chance, I would like to understand where you are coming from?

That is an interesting question. It says in Genesis 1:9-10 "And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good." That was a good observation from a visitor, and you are right 777. The Bible says that God called the dry land earth and the waters seas. It is like everyone just assumes that this planet was named "Earth." It really makes you think, in regard to how one day there will be a new heaven and a new earth. If it is not saying a new planet, but a new earth, it comes across more like a renovation, which is what I believe it will be.
The GOOD LORD gonna clean this ol earth up and all wickedness and wicked will no more be . And its why more than ever , JESUS MUST BE SOUNDED and all sound doctrine in the holy bible must be learned and taught . For any who loveth a lie will be damned to a lake of fire from which there will be no escape . JESUS ALONE saves , And thus let all lambs only increase with fully persuaded minds , THE TRUE GOSPLE and ALL SOUND DOCTRINE TOO . THE LAST STAND . Someone in this generation has to do it , SO I volunteer , and all who love the LORD will volunteer to , TIME to make the last stand for many and many more will be deceived .

We can never have too much Bible. No matter how much we read and re-read it, we will find something new. I had never really thought about God calling only the dry land earth, but that is what it says in Genesis. Someone reading through with us spotted it. Lets stay in the Bible and get it in our hearts. It is the book we never finish. We just start over again.

LET the LORD BE PRAISED . Butero , I had a good idea . You know how we are reading three chapters a day . We should read also one chapter of new test every day too . KEEP it all refreshed . Then when we get to the new test , we flip it to include one chapter of old test a day too .

If someone wants to read Psalms, Proverbs, the New Testament, anything in addition to the 3 chapters per day, that is great. My purpose here is to encourage all to read through the Bible. There are some that never read all the way straight through a single time, and at just 3 chapters a day, we can finish in 13 months, and we don't have to speed read through it that way where we overlook things.

I see what you mean. There won't be an end to this planet, but it will be changed. All the corruption will be gone. It is just a question of whether or not we are technically on earth when we are sailing on the ocean, or if we are on seas? How does this effect the curse?

I just finished Exodus. It amazes me how those people lost their faith so easily and worshipped a golden calf. That had to be insulting to God when they gave it credit for taking them out of Egypt. Aaron right there with them. How could you lose your faith so fast after all God had done for them?

Did they really believe that? I would have been insulted if I was God. They did see his anger.

You would be amazed at how many have said in heart , WHERE has THIS JESUS GONE come to let us build the all inclusive bull . MANY are betraying JESUS and the true gospel , for an all inclusive golden bull . RIGHT NOW .

PS , moses made intercession for the people while he was in the mount , JUST as JESUS is in the true tabernacle now . But when moses returned , he returned as wrath unto all who had danced to the bull and not repented , SO TOO WILL JESUS . HE WILL tread the winepress of the wrath of all mighty GOD , when once HE ARISES, and all who danced to the golden bull of all inclusive will wail on that day .
SO the message stands , READ ONLY BIBLES and FOLLOW only the biblical JESUS and learn well also what the apostels taught too . For many deceivers abound and many love to sit under them , and it wont bode well for them ON the day of the LORD . SOUND OUT THE TRUE GOSPLE , contend for the true faith and stay ONLY IN BIBLES and teach THAT .

And how much sorer a punishment for those who have TROD under foot THE SON OF MAN , for an inclusive golden bull . FOLKS got no idea the wrath they are storing up against themselves ON HIS DAY by building in this unity inclusive dead end bull .

They could only believe in God while the miracles were taking place in front of them, but when Moses was gone for a time, and things were at a stand still, they just gave up. They created the calf to give them something tangible to look upon, and then they convinced themselves that this was their god that brought them out of the land of Egypt, as ludicrous as that seems to us.
In the RCC, one of the reasons I have been told by Catholics they have all those statues is because they recognize this in people, that they need something they can see. The problem with that is, they wind up praying to graven images, which is completely forbidden. When we pray to a statue of a departed saint or we pray to Mary, we are guilty of idolatry, no matter how you try to convince yourself otherwise. God says that we are blessed if we can believe, even when we do not see him.

Yes . Very true . I remember these words very clear too , WORSHIP GOD the angel had told john who tried to kneel before it , WORSHIP GOD , And the Spirit of prophecy , IS the testimony of JESUS . Notice even the angel said , Not to worship it , that he was simply one of the fellow workers , BUT TO SIMPLY WORSHIP GOD . WE simply pray unto GOD through JESUS OUR LORD . Using HIS NAME and doing all things pleasing to GOD through HIS grace , the Spirit , which enables us to do all things which please and honor GOD . Its time for many more fat exhortations .
