We have had this sin in the world going back to before Sodom and Gomorah, but what is taking place today is making it acceptable. What we used to call a sickness and a sin is now considered an alternate lifestyle and something to take pride in. We have even re-defined marriage to include same sex unions. Look at what they are doing on television today. It seems every show is promoting the homosexual lifestyle, and trying to get us to look at it as completely normal and we are made to look like intolerant bigots if we say it is wrong. Yes, we are living in the last days.

Yes, we are living in the last days. Its considered normal these days when only a few years ago it was a crime. The gays and transgenders are now calling believers in Australia "Fundamentalist Christian imbeciles." I'm disappointed because believers in God and His Word, in a so called Christian Country, Australia, where the politicians open parliament by saying the "Our Father, are vilified for speaking the truth regarding Gods Word. An Australian rugby star has sparked outrage by saying that gay people go to "hell". Israel Folau, who has 62 caps for the Wallabies national team, has been summoned to meet the head of Rugby Australia, Raelene Castle, who said his comment had "upset a number of people". The three-time Australian player of the year and devout Christian made the remark after an Instagram follower asked him what "God's plan for gay people" was. Folau replied: "HELL.. Unless they repent of their sins and turn to God." Sydney's first gay and inclusive rugby club, the Convicts, said the comments were "disappointing". There was further condemnation on Twitter, with one user, Paul Walker, writing: "It disturbs me how people in this day and age can still harbour such narrow minded views, sad really." Another one, John Vasek, said: "What a fool. Continuing to promote hatred. Fundamentalist Christian imbeciles." But Dave Thomas said that while he disagreed with Folau's views, he was "completely entitled to express his religious beliefs, just as others are entitled to criticise him". In another controversial moment, Folau tweeted his opposition to same-sex marriage before Australia legalised such unions last year. Alan Joyce, chief executive of Qantas Airways, which sponsors the Wallabies, has been a key proponent of gay marriage. One person on Twitter suggested Quantas drop its sponsorship, while another tweeted: "As a major sponsor for the wallabies are you ok with @izzyfolau homophobic outburst?" Ms Castle said she and Andrew Hore, the chief executive of Folau's club, NSW Waratahs, would meet the player to "discuss his use of social media". "Israel's comment reflects his personal religious beliefs, however it does not represent the view of Rugby Australia or NSW Rugby," Ms Castle said in a statement. "We are aligned in our view that rugby is a game for all, regardless of sexuality, race, religion or gender, which is clearly articulated in rugby's inclusion policy. "We understand that Israel's comment has upset a number of people and we will discuss the matter with him as soon as possible." news.sky.com/story/gay-people-go-to-hell-says-australian-rugby-star-israel-folau-11317953

This know also , that in the last days perilous times will come For men shall be lovers of their own selves , covetous , boasters , proud , blasphemers , disobedient to parents , unthankful and unholy WITHOUT , WITHOUT , WITHOUT NATURAL AFFECTION .
YEAH WE IN THE LAST DAYS , this is HONORED in the world and in more and more churches . ITS AN END TIME SIGN . Not a sign that says we got lots of time of left . AN END TIME ONE . I just thought I would mention that the Greek word astorgos which is translated as "without natural affection" in the KJV in Romans 1:31 and 2 Timothy 3:3, and as "heartless" in the ESV, is not the same as the words translated as "vile affections" (KJV), or "dishonorable passions" (ESV) in Romans 1:26. The original Greek words for Romans 1:26, "pathe atimias" translates into "passions of dishonor"---which would be the sexual perversion described in Romans 1:24-27, rather than the lack of love or "natural affection" ("astorgos") mentioned in Romans 1:31 and 2 Timothy 3:3. They are different words with different meanings. The vile affections (or passions of dishonor)---sexual perversion---are not the same as the lack of natural affection, (or heartlessness), which would be a lack of love, compassion or kindness. Nevertheless, I understand the point of your post, and I agree that the prevalence and acceptance (and promotion) of homosexuality is a glaring sign of the times, just as the Lord said that the days preceding His coming would be like the days of Lot. The world has become like Sodom; and I expect that the flagrant sexual perversion, along with every other kind of wickedness, will get even worse during the Tribulation, due to the increase in demonic activity during that time, when Michael, and the angels under him, who contend with the demons and somewhat restrain demonic activity by God's command, will be taken out of the way (2 Thessalonians 2:7; Daniel 12:1). Jerusalem is described as "Sodom" and "Egypt" during that time (Revelation 11:8), indicative of what will be going on there, and of how it will be in God's eyes. Sodom was a city of homosexuality, as well as of pride, abundance and prosperous ease without regard for the poor (Ezekiel 16:49). And Egypt was a land of idolatry (and we know that Jerusalem will be worshiping the beast and his image during that time.)

The reaction that happened in Australia over comments by a sports star is not much different than what happens in America over similar comments. I remember a baseball player forced to go to sensitivity training over comments not that much different about things he observed on a subway train in New York City. They justify this censorship by claiming that these people represent MLB, the NFL, or whatever other sports franchise they happen to work for. It is ridiculous, and most of the time, the people are being asked for honest opinions in an interview, and yes, they are expected to do interviews. They are just supposed to give politically correct comments all the time.

The word translated natural is phusikos which means instinctive, natural. The word translated affections is pathos, passion, affection or lust. It is not from a single Greek word astorgos. The word translated to vile is atimia, which means disgrace, reproach, shame, vile. The word translated affections in that instance is pathos, which means a passion, affection, lust. My source is Strong's Greek Dictionary. Going by that, the King James Bible is spot on. I can take it as written, and it is correct.

The point I was making was that Romans 1:26 and 2 Timothy 3:3 are not referring to the same things. Romans 1:26 is speaking about sexual perversion, and the other (2 Timothy 3:3) is referring to a lack of affection (like a lack of kindness, love or compassion), not about homosexuality. The original post stated or implied that the two were related, and they are not. They are speaking about two different things.

Truth is being thrown to the ground.......evil is being called good and good is being called evil. The spiritual opposition to God's rules and order and everything that He declares to be good and right and true is amazing and sickening to witness as it increases. From the theory of the evolution and the sick and twisted thinking that results from the belief that human beings are animals, to the confusion and obliteration of gender and of God-ordained gender roles, to the perversion and abandonment of marriage, to the acceptance, praise and proliferation of homosexuality, to the rise of militant atheism, to the obsession with sex, to the flauting of common decency, to the violence and cruelty not only among adults but also among children. It's Roman 1:24-32 in overdrive; and it's directly related to an increase in demonic activity in the world, though the world does not know this. And it will only get worse during the tribulation. The world is depraved; it has lost its mind, ignorantly and helplessly following the evil one, whose angels are no doubt delighted and laughing over the corruption and destruction of the creation, as they lead them deeper and deeper into wicked insanity, which the deceived believe is enlightenment and progress. The Christians who want to stay here in Sodom are Christians who are living for themselves. Lot's righteous soul may have been vexed over the deeds of the Sodomites, but when he had to leave everything he had behind and flee for his life, he lingered. The angels had to pull him out of Sodom by the hand. Lot lived too much for himself, unlike his uncle Abraham, the friend of God. He found his life in Sodom, and but for God's mercy, he would have lost it. The Christian who is living for Christ---who loves Him and who has His mind---can't wait to get out of this place.

It's sad and hard for us because we have grown up in a fairly "Christian" society and are having to watch it's decline into paganism, it leaves us with a kind of helpless feeling I think, like watching people fall off a cliff and nothing we can do to stop it. Maybe we can take encouragement from the early church who largely already lived and came to faith while they were living in the pagan societies of their time. It's also hard to have to watch the decline of the church, and how it has been invaded by the world, and become like the world. Lot is declared to be righteous in scripture, though perhaps not perfect.......and amen, just like us, but for God's mercy where would we be? We will all lay our crowns at His feet in the end. Yes, this world is not our home, and we are not at home in it, amen.

A definite sign of the times. They are putting fear into us to not speak out about abominations which the Lord hates. This is when the truth is cast to the ground and trampled on as spoken in Daniel. It is happening now, and will only worsen. This is Satan's kingdom, and Hazard, although we like sports, Satan owns sport also. Whoever is made great and receives glory, receives it from him. He has to control his subjects, or he will take away what he has given them, if they speak against his kingdom.

(That's not a good thing---to leave this world like Lot--- barely, with the flames licking the hem of our robe, and with nothing more than our life; but it's immeasurably better than the alternative. It's better to leave this world laden with silver and gold and precious stones, to the glory of God, than to leave it with little to nothing; but we'll reap what we've sown, and we've all worked for and devoted our time to what we truly desired and valued, whether things temporal or eternal.)
