Amen John. There are lots of scriptures that testify to Jesus being God. Here is another one in case it didn't get mentioned:
Phl 2:5-9 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name
No one here is denying that Jesus is the Son of God and Son of Man, but that He is also God come in the flesh.

Greetings again Dear Brethren. Please do not ignore this 1 Corinthians 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is "manifest" that "he" is "excepted", which did put all things under him. This needs to be addressed please. Why do we skip over as if it was not said? Who put all things under who's feet? What is manifest? Obviously all things that were put under his feet does not include the one who put all things under him. God is not under Christ. He is the only exception. Do we understand? John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: ...for my Father is greater than I... I am not ignoring this. Of course Jesus Christ is not greater than God the Father. God the Father is the God head, meaning His will is what is being done, just as the head of a human body controls that body. My arms do the will of my head. They are not greater than my head. My legs do the will of my head. They are not greater than my head, yet the are all still me. The God head sent Jesus Christ, His Son, into this world and put all things under His feet, but Jesus Christ is not greater than His head. There is nothing complicated about this.
I am sorry, but whilst you claim you agree with this scripture, you are however ignoring what is MANIFEST in this message. THE LORD said unto MY LORD, Sit thou AT MY RIGHT HAND, until I MAKE thine enemies thy footstool. (Psalms 110:1) The Father has put all things under his Son's feet, except himself. The Father put HIS SON, his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON in charge. ONE IS DOING THE GIVING, THE OTHER IS RECEIVING. There is a relationship between two here, not one. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as ...I RECEIVED OF MY FATHER.... (Revelation 2:27)

MYSTERY!!!! It is written Jesus is the SON of GOD. The BEGINNING of the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ, the SON of God; (Mark 1:1)A flawed foundation will cause many flaws and will only get worse. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth SHALL make you free. (John 8:32)
But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I HAVE HEARD OF GOD: this did not Abraham. (John 8:40)
TRUTH = TRUTH FLAWS = FLAWS ERROR MEANS ERROR Proud and rejecting the truth does not make a true disciple of Christ. Jesus is the Son of God. This is truth. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as MY FATHER hath APPOINTED UNTO ME; (Luke 22:29)
I have many things to say and to judge of you: but HE that SENT ME is true; and I speak to the world those things which I HAVE HEARD OF HIM. (John 8:26)
THEY understood NOT that he spake to them of THE FATHER. (John 8:27)
They understood not that Jesus IS the Son of God. They came preaching another gospel saying Jesus is NOT the Son of God but God the Father.
The BEGINNING of the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ, the SON of God; (Mark 1:1)
Go back to the truth, the beginning of the true gospel beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. I want to revisit the OP of this thread. You used spin to ignore it. The passage is not saying what it is in a negative way, like saying that in the future, people will mistakenly say certain things about Jesus Christ that is not so. The very notion is so absurd, I don't think anyone would take it serious unless they were intentionally trying to pervert the Bible. Talk about prideful! To willfully pervert this passage in such a way is prideful and arrogant. It is a feeble attempt to hold on to a false doctrine, and to continue to deny that Jesus Christ is God. Lets revisit that passage again. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
This is a proclamation from God, not things people will say falsely about Jesus. It states, "The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this." Nobody in their right mind would take this to be something negative, and a prophecy that people will mistakenly see Jesus as The Mighty God and the Everlasting Father! Are we falsely calling him Wonderful? Is that a mistake on our part? How about calling Jesus the Prince of Peace? Is that in error too? What you are doing is the same thing other false teachers have done for ages. You are trying to reconcile your false ideas with other scriptures that prove you wrong, so you come up with nonsense like this. We all recognize Jesus Christ is the Son of God. You aren't telling us anything we don't already know. Nobody is denying that. I am saying that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and He is also God himself. What do you not understand about Trinitarian doctrine? We all believe there is one God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Just as the human body has more than one part, so does God. Just as a husband and wife are one flesh, they are also two personalities. Yes, Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and He is also God the Father, in that they are one. Jesus said that himself. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father; and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake. John 14:9-11 Believest not that Michael? If you see Jesus, you have seen the Father. What does that mean, I am fully correct to call Jesus Christ The Everlasting Father, because that is true! He is also The Mighty God. Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58 This was a clear reference to the name God the Father, Jehovah, said He shall be called in Exodus 3:14. And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
The Bible makes it clear that Jesus Christ is God. You are in denial. John 1:1 IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Word mentioned here is Jesus Christ. Notice that it says he was with God and was God! Yes, he was both with God and was God at the same time. Again, the mystery of the Trinity. One God, but three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And to put the icing on the cake, Matthew 1:23 says the following about Jesus Christ. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
What is your response to this scripture, to claim that people will call Jesus "God with us," but will be saying something false? Can't you see how absurd your claims are? Again, we all believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Nobody is denying that. I am saying Jesus Christ is the Son of God, but He is also God, as the Bible clearly says He is. I am denying nothing in scripture, but you are. My doctrine fits. My doctrine allows for all the scriptures to be true. It doesn't choose to believe some while ignoring others as yours does. Dear precious brother About this spin. We can use logic. This is how we discuss matters. Do you recall me saying that Jesus is that awesome, many will confuse him with the Father? Is there not a trinity teaching today claiming that unless you believe that Christ is God the Father, then you are not really saved? Do you think that God did not foresee such a time causing such a stir? All those titles in Isaiah cannot belong to just the Son, or just the Father, because it's all mish mashed into one. This is what the trinity teaching does. Open your eyes brother, and understand what the spirit is saying. God cannot call his Son everlasting Father, because there is only one Father, and one Son. It is written; But to us there is but ONE GOD, THE FATHER of whom ARE ALL THINGS, and we in him; ….and.... ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST by whom are all things, and we by him. (1 Corinthians 8:6 )Therefore the Son who has the government on his shoulder shall be called all these titles, not by God, or by the prophet he spoke through, but by the trinitarians who are confused and believe Jesus also is the Father. I will give you another example; And she shall bring forth a son, and "THOU SHALT CALL" his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21)
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, (Matthew 1:22 )Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and THEY shall CALL HIS NAME Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Matthew 1:23)So which one is it? What's the name God has called him, and the name the others will call him according to who they think Jesus is?

I’m sorry too, but have to say you are simply in error with what you are saying here. Jhn 20:27-29 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Col 2:8-10 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. It is a mystery, and we may not understand it very well with our own mind, so we need to just believe by faith and not let our carnal mind talk us out of what we know and believe in our HEART, if we have been born of Him. Follow the Spirit, not logic. The revelation of the Spirit IS that Jesus Christ is Lord...He is God incarnate, as well as being Son of God and Son of Man. There is a reason why it was written, "Hear oh Israel, the Lord is one." How is it that by faith in Christ we come to the Father......because they are one.

My head is in control, but my hands are doing it's bidding, yet they are all one body. There is a relationship here as well. My hands are not my head, yet they are part of the same body. Jesus is the Son of God, yet He is also one with God and is God. This is not complicated.

What you are saying about Isaiah is ludicrous, but in addition to that, you are ignoring the other scriptures I posted that also make it clear that Jesus Christ is God. What you are doing is as absurd as if you took that scripture about a virgin being with child and claimed that it isn't really a virgin that was with child, but people just thought a virgin would be with child. After all, it is not logical to believe Mary could have really been a virgin. That is what you are doing with the other scriptures that prove the deity of Christ.
In addition to that, you are not just arguing the title of Christ, "Son of God," but you are arguing against Jesus Christ being God. That is not Biblical, as I have proven. Your focus only on His name as Son of God is not the only problem I have with what you are teaching. It is not the thing that makes me see you as lost. It is your denial that Jesus Christ is God. Trinitarian, non-Trinitarian is not a salvation issue, but believing that Jesus Christ is I AM, God, does matter. I would also point out that God called himself I AM, and so did Jesus Christ. That means He is saying He is God. You mentioned his uniqueness. Of course He is unique. He was God and man at the same time.

We have a person that was banned, but comes here and reads on occasion, I am writing this to, but it is really for anyone that doubts that the Bible says Jesus Christ is God. I want you all to look at what this scripture says and ponder it, as it is clearly speaking of Jesus Christ.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. Isaiah 9:6,7
This should end the controversy forever. Look at what the Bible says Jesus Christ shall be called:
1 Wonderful 2 Counsellor 3 The Mighty God 4 The everlasting Father 5 The Prince of Peace
If Jesus shall be called, "The Mighty God," this shows He is God! Let that sink in to anyone who has any doubt. Jesus said that he and the Father are one, and it says here Jesus Christ shall be called, "The everlasting Father." The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is a mystery, and it is not easy for us to wrap our minds around it sometimes, how there can be one God existing in three persons, but that is the truth, but even if you don't want to accept the concept of the Trinity, there should be no debate that if you believe the Bible, you have to accept that Jesus Christ is "The Mighty God." Jesus himself said that he is "I AM." I pray that God will make this clear to everyone, so you can believe and truly be saved.
Amen. Jesus Christ is God.

Our friend that rejects the deity of Christ has returned, so I am bringing this back up again. This passage from Isaiah shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus Christ is God. Jesus Christ is called, "the Mighty God," among other things.

And we see that even one of the apostles , after seeing HIM alive , said MY LORD and MY GOD . And JESUS did not CORRECT him either . Now notice that any time men tried to exalt the apostels as being some kind of gods or etc , THEY CORRECTED and said things like , WHY DO YE LOOK ON US as though WE BUT JESUS did NOT correct that desciple when he said , MY LORD and MY GOD . What is the word i am looking for ........OH yeah , EXACTLY .
