I can’t is not an option if God is in it!
When one who is addicted and says things like I can’t stop, or in their minds say it will never happen; basically, have already made up their minds! Many times they want pity instead of the things that will help them. Self-defamation is the mentality they maintain empowering the proclivities and inclinations for the vices that they help chain and shackle them. They say; don’t preach at me preacher for these chains cannot be broken there is no freedom for me in God. They make their proclamation and the declare their own defeat. They deny the power of God but want to carry his name! Yet; Jesus came that we could have life more abundantly by setting us free from the wicked flesh master of sin.
(18) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Luke 4:18 KJV
The Spirit of the Lord anoints to preach, heal, preach deliverance, recovers physical but most importantly spiritual blindness, and to set free those who are bruised.
We have a Savior who was beaten, bantered, assassinated and terminated; then resurrected and resuscitated for our you and me!
(5) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 KJV
(16) When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
(17) That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Matthew 8:16-17 KJV
When we come to God on his terms He redeems us; he pays the ransom for our sins and rebellion and sets us free from the death curse of the law and the lust of the flesh.
(13) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
(14) That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14 KJV
Wow! That’s a whole lot of Jesus going on! And what does the bible say about the Son? Answer! “Whom the Son has set free is free in deed”. The Messiah or in other words The Anointed is anointed all by himself! And when we invite The Anointed in he sets us free all by himself! Therefore anyone in Christ can call upon the Lord and he will deliver him if that one will yield totally to the Lord! The Lord gave up the ghost so that we can give up the flesh! When we surrender to his will, his word, and his way with all our hearts; it’s time for deliverance! Hallelujah! Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
