As you may already know, I have problems with canker sores (aphthous ulcers).
And past month I was having a bad time with recurrent episodes of ulcers in my mouth.
It was really bad, just imagine you having to face two, three or even more ulcers in your mouth.
When one was healing then another one was forming and then when the other was healed the new one was already painful.
It was a really hard time.
And then I decided to pray seriously about it because it was affecting me negatively.
Common things just as eating, talking was not pleasant anymore I was just eating because I simply had to.
Obviously, this is not how we wish to live. It is horrible.
Then I decided to pray and ask God so that this situation could be solved.
I can tolerate one ulcer in a gap of some days or weeks but multiple ulcers so frequently, one after the other - with no rest - is a torture.
Then I decided to pray and do some acts of faith until I could see some results.
I know the Lord loves me, and this situation really is very uncomfortable and I see no reason for me to suffer like this.
Then I kept praying, praying... And apparently nothing was happening, I could not see a considerable effect.
But I kept praying, doing something, asking for mercy.
And a certain day God made me read something (I believe) and then it was like I received wisdom.
I noticed that canker sores can be easily triggered in me by abrasion and shock (as caused by toothbrush or other things).
Then I thought: It is true. I can try to lower the frequency I brush my teeth.
Then I started to brush my teeth only for two times a day.
This should help, I thought.
Well, it helped.
After praying and doing that the canker sores were healed and one tried to grow again but it didn't prosper and it wasn't painful.
Now I thank God because I am with my mouth in a state I did not experience for a long time.
And now I am able to talk, enjoy a meal, with no pain.
It is already better than I expected.
“And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt,
and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them...” - Exodus 3:7-8
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the
power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” - Ephesians 3:20-21
Thank you, Lord Jesus!
