There are no chauvnists on this site . IF there were , I WOULD REBUKE THEM ALL . YES I WOULD . But if anyone errs , THEY MUST with upmost speed and urgency be corrected . THE TIME for the original pattern to be set up and taught , IS NOW . We , this generation and many before it , HAVE been Dumbed down . And many will not make it . Many are not going to make it . AND the blood of none will be on my hands . IF one errs , REBUKE FAST . What is a chauvinist to you? If you mean men thinking men are better than women, I hope we don't have any here. I do not believe men are superior to women. I just believe in gender roles and a Biblical chain of authority. I believe that all of this teaching, that under the New Covenant, the curse was done away with, meaning the chain of authority no longer exists, is a false doctrine, easily disproved.

I fully believe the scriptures on husbands and wives....however, I'm resolved that I will no longer listen to any teachings about that until the teacher has demonstrated that he understands and teaches first how husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the church. Had about enough of carts pulling horses over the years, sorry. So you are telling me you are resolved not to listen to teachings on wives until you are satisfied there is an equal amount of teachings on husbands? Even if the husbands don't live right, the wives are told to submit.
LIKEWISE, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 1 Peter 3:1,2
The husbands can be completely disobedient to the Word of God, and the wife is still accountable to God to obey her unbelieving husband.
I don't want to take sides on the back and forth over who is believing the Bible, but I agree that wives are supposed to obey their husbands, even if they don't do right themselves. That is what it says.

<< If the curse was really lifted, we would be living in conditions like they were in the garden, nobody would ever get sick, there would be no strife of any kind, and nobody would ever die. I have heard others claim that the curse was lifted, but they cannot explain why people ever get sick and die. One day, the entire curse will no longer have any effect on us, but in the meantime, it still does. It makes no sense to say that in the future, we won't die, but for now, only the rest of the curse is lifted. >> Brother....the enemy has been defeated but we do not yet see all things put under the feet of Christ....because we are in a war...the enemy doesn't want to surrender.....ground has to be taken by force, spiritual warfare....the kingdom of heaven taken by force....the promised land entered little by little. We often have to fight in order to see the things that Jesus died for manifested. People do get healed in the name of Jesus, the dead are even raised, this woman had no pain in childbirth, men enter the rest of God and He can miraculously provide, when it is His will to do it that way and when we have faith to believe. Are you saying that if we believe and do spiritual warfare, we don't need to be effected by the curse and don't have to die or be sick or feel pain? How do we eat from the tree of life today?

Those are the questions I have to those teaching this. If it were so, people like the Apostle John should have understood this and should still be alive and walking this earth today. He was not a martyr. He could have been eating of the tree of life and continued living. Those who teach this are selective. They give as examples how some women do not have pain while giving birth, either because of meds or because they are the exception, but cannot explain why all the curses are not done away with. That same woman who doesn't feel pain in child bearing should also never get sick and die if this was true.

I never heard anyone teach the curse was lifted like that before. I wish it was true and nobody had to deal with sickness and death.

It would be wonderful if once you got saved, you were no longer effected by the sin in this world. It would be great if the way to the tree of life was restored, but we know none of that is true.

...It would be great if the way to the tree of life was restored...
But it is.
“I am the vine, you are the branches.
He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit...” - John 15:5
“...and if the root is holy, so are the branches.” - Romans 11:16
“Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” - Matthew 7:20
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” - 2 Corinthians 5:17
And the tree we will see soon.
“...The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden...” - Genesis 2:9
“In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life...” - Revelation 22:2
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” - Revelation 2:7
In Christ, the way to tree of life is restored for us.
“Jesus said to him,
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” - John 14:6

Want to come back to this thread....but have another Christmas to get through today, other side of the family...still gifts to wrap, things to bake, and have to get ready. See you back here either later tonight or tomorrow morning, God willing.
Amen Letters, the way to the Tree of Life has been opened! \o/

Glory to God! \o/ We are connected to Jesus. There is no question that is true, but I am speaking of the tree of life that Adam and Eve were cut off from to where they could not continue to eat and live forever. That access was taken away from them as a result of the fall, and to this day, nobody knows where the tree is located, or has access to it's fruit. If we did, we could eat of it and live forever, without ever experiencing physical death. There is a difference is that tree of life and being connected to the vine.
There is a false doctrine that is being spread, mostly by feminists, where they claim that wives are no longer under subjection to their husbands because the curse was supposedly done away with through faith in Christ. The problem is, they only point to a couple of examples to show that while ignoring other things. They like to claim that because of advances in medicine, women no longer have pain in childbearing. This was the first time I have heard someone take that to the next level and claim women don't have to experience physical pain during child birth without meds if they believe. That is clearly not true of most women. There are women who still die in childbearing.
Men still have to earn a living by the sweat of their brow, but there are exceptions. Some work in an air conditioned office and some men are wealthy and do not have to work. That doesn't mean the curse is gone. Many men are still working by the sweat of the brow. Before the fall, things came easy, but not today. Ever hear of farmers losing their crops because of foul weather or bug infestation? The spin would be to point out the exceptions and claim that is proof the curse is lifted.
People still get sick and die. That is the result of the fall. The spin is that some are healed and a handful of dead people have been raised, but if the curse was lifted, no Christian would ever get sick and die. You see how this works. It is spin. It is feminist false doctrine. It is every bit as false and dangerous as any other false doctrine that has infiltrated the Christian church. It has been just as destructive as the all inclusive lie and OSAS. It is just a different false doctrine, and its main objective is to defend rebellion in the home. Most men are too afraid to speak out against it for fear of the backlash, so it is allowed to continue to spread. It is easier to walk on pins and needles worrying that you might be seen as a chauvinist or misogynist or any other derogatory name feminists created, than to make waves and expose the heresy. I have witnessed the harm that has come from being silent about it, both to children and to the family.

Are you saying we have access to the tree of life today? If we do, how do I get to it so I can live forever in this flesh? People are too focused on the now. Access to the tree of life is for overcomers only.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” - Revelation 2:7
Then, you will not find a tree of life in this world.
But you can find Jesus, who will give you to eat from it at the appointed time, as written.
Blessings!
