I would like to know what you all think about these two scriptures
Deuteronomy 31:21 .... sorry my version is Amplified.... still looking to get a KJV
And when many evils and troubles have befallen them, this song will confront them as a witness, for it will never be forgotten from the mouths of their descendants. For I know their strong desire and the purposes which they are forming even now, before I have brought them into the land which I swore to give them.
Deut. 31:29 For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days because you will do what is evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger through the work of your hands.

I overlooked this thread, but I think I addressed it in another thread. Moses knew that the children of Israel would defile themselves after his death. While he was alive, look at how quickly they turned out of the way. Moses knew that so long as they obeyed God, all would go well with them, but if they sinned, God would turn against them. Much of this already came to pass. If I remember correctly, you thought the holocaust may have been a fulfillment of this, and I agree it is possible. Anytime they would disobey God and judgment would come, it is a fulfillment of this prophetic word. The things that will take place during the tribulation period can be added to this list.

I'm not sure what happened with this post... after posting it I could not find it and wondered where it had gone? So, yes I posted it again but probably worded a little differently. Thanks for your response!

Deuteronomy 7:7-9 tells us, “The LORD did not set His affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the LORD loved you and kept the oath He swore to your forefathers that He brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands.”
God chose the nation of Israel to be the people through whom Jesus Christ would be born—the Savior from sin and death (John 3:16). God first promised the Messiah after Adam and Eve’s fall into sin (Genesis chapter 3). God later confirmed that the Messiah would come from the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Genesis 12:1-3). Jesus Christ is the ultimate reason why God chose Israel to be His special people. God did not need to have a chosen people, but He decided to do it that way. Jesus had to come from some nation of people, and God chose Israel.

Jesus had to come from some nation of people, and God chose Israel. God saw something in Abraham that was not in all men, unconditional faith. Abraham fully trusted in God, and as a result of that faith, God chose to make a nation out of his children through Isaac. There are few people that you will find with the kind of faith that Abraham possessed. Job comes to mind, but there are not many.
