When I started that thread showing all the references to the Kingdom of God, Kingdom of Heaven, and Kingdom in general, I was surprised to see how much Jesus talked about it. Obviously, I knew that Jesus would often reference the Kingdom of God, but it seems like almost everything He spoke of was in reference to this Kingdom. I have learned something as a result of the thread. Then I think about how little you hear people teach or preach about the Kingdom, and I wonder why? It was such an important thing to the Lord. It tells me that it would do us all good to spend more time focusing on the Kingdom of God, and being heavenly minded. Remember, Jesus said His Kingdom is not of this world.

I haven't had a chance to read through all the scriptures you have been posting in that thread, but I will take a look. About being heavenly minded, I always thought that saying about being too heavenly minded to be any earthly good was unbiblical. We should be heavenly minded and focused on God's kingdom.

I never liked that saying either. What is the opposite of being heavenly minded, earthly or carnal minded?
