We live in a busy world with many distractions and useless things that fills our eyes and tempt us.
And we are living in a world that requires lots of patience and self-control.
And with so many things to distract us, it may be difficult to maintain patience and to focus on what really matters.
"But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly." - Luke 21:34
But what does really matter?!
"God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." - John 4:24
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." - Matthew 6:33
"And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." - Colossians 3:17
Should I be worried about anything and losing my sleep?!
The answer obviously is: No.
"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" - Matthew 6:26
What we all should be worried about is to worship and to please God.
And present our problems and questions to Him who is able solve and to do the best for us.
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." - Matthew 7:7
"You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men." - 1 Corinthians 7:23
When we feel too anxious and worried for something, our focus is changed and we do not behave as we ought to.
And that is exactly what the enemy wants, to see our discomfort and to steal our peace from us.
Seek to trust in God and you will start seeing yourself less in such situations.
To learn to trust in Him in all moments and situations may seem hard for some, but when worrying and doubting will not solve anything...
Then it is better for us to start seeking to trust in Him more and more each day. And to grow with each episode, seeking not to repeat the lack of trust in Him.
Then it is definitely something we all should be seeking to grow and pray about.
"Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead" - 2 Corinthians 1:9
"...and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe..." - Mark 16:14
"...O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" - Matthew 14:31
What we should really be focusing on is to do what is pleasing in His sight, seeking His will, and His everything, and not ours.
Then do not let anything try to steal the grace that was given to you, honor God in your body and spirit.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing... Whenever you need and feel to.
The Lord is always near you and willing to lift you up.
Sure, there are moments we may feel to cry and think about it... But these are just moments we may need sometimes.
"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
"So they put away the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord. And His soul could no longer endure the misery of Israel." - Judges 10:16
"The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy." - Psalm 103:8
But for the most part we should be jumping in joy, be kind to all, resting and trusting in Him always... Because He cares for us.
"For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." - Matthew 11:30
And this is the inexplicable joy we feel in Him... Even when everything seems to be going against us, we still rejoice in Him.
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." - Romans 8:28
And you, how often you found yourself in such situation?! It is time to review our priorities, and daily.
"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock." - Matthew 7:24-25
God bless you all in Jesus' name!

God bless you all in Jesus' name! Life becomes much simpler, and much less worry-filled when our priorities are God's priorities, and His perspective is our perspective. So many of the things that the world is preoccupied with and concerned about melt away and become of no concern---just distractions and futile pursuits and unnecessary worries for those who have and love God, and who have His perspective. You can't forget who you are and why you're here if you're looking daily into His word and being a doer of it, and are keeping the Lord in mind in all you do and discerning His will with the aim of pleasing Him. But those who don't do this get caught up in themselves and in this world and forget who they are and why they are here, and they don't live fruitfully or powerfully in Christ, as God intends for us to. Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. (Ephesians 5:15-17) ...Be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks intently into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. (James 1:22-25) If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:1-3) No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him. (2 Timothy 2:4)

Dear Frienduff I was just reading 2 Timothy yesterday. 2 Tim 3:16, wonderful! All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.2 Timothy 3:16,17
