That is great if you are able to do that. Let us hope the rapture is before the great tribulation period and we are ready to go, but how would you be able to pay your bills without that mark of the beast? You could not pay for your power. Still, I would rather starve to death and do without electricity than be doomed for taking that mark! Anyone that takes the mark is eternally doomed, no more hope.

I got a quote to run everything off the grid, and it was going to cost something like $25,000.00. It was way too much. I did not think to gradually add panels.

One other thought about solar before I sign off. I would bet that would be ideal for tiny houses. What bugs me about those tiny homes you see on television is the price. I probably have about 1100 square feet in my home, not that big, but not a tiny house, and the price was much less than what you see people paying for these little homes under 400 square feet. You see people paying $300,000.00 for a tiny house. In many cases, that is for location. They want to live in expensive places. To me, the reason for going tiny would be something inexpensive and that would not take that much to heat and cool. I think that is a good way to go for a lot of people today.

It's illegal in some places even now. They want you to pay taxes. But of course, Christianity will become illegal, so sure, off the grid we go! |

If the tribulation happens before the rapture, I can go off the grid! I will put my diy skills to good use!
My Father feeds the sparrows , Its like corona , no matter what comes upon this earth , the LORD is in control . Even not being able to work , even having not a dime , OUR GOD fed the people manna in the desert and our GOD fed the multitudes on this earth at least twice , with no money involved . I have all peace that no matter how harsh it gets , and even if we are unable to fuction at all in society , That GOD is our helper and we shall not fear what man can do to us . Yep . HANDS UP AND PRAISE THE LORD . TO LIVE is CHRIST to die is only gain . Whether we live or we die , we belong to HIM and are HIS . Let all remain faithful unto HIM , to the final breath . Let all heed the Spirit and not the flesh . And let all feast on bibles . And let all exhort one another daily and be watching and let all be of the mindset that if even we must die for being faithful to JESUS , then embrace it with all hope . For no matter what we suffer , no matter even if they kill the body , THE LORD IS WITH US and also to be absent from the body is simply to be present with HIM . I am not sure if I can actually go off the grid where I live, but if I had the money to afford to go to solar power, I could get where I have no power bill.

I am with you on this. If the Lord tarries much longer, we will almost assuredly see the true Christians have to go underground and meet in secret.

That is already coming in. Some pastors are starting to get prosecuted for speaking out against LGBTQ as hate speech. Not sure what the position currently is if they speak out against it in their sermon. |

I agree with you on that. I believe the Lord's return could be at any moment. Every time you look up at the sky, like the old Goodman's song says, "This could be the cloud he's coming back on." With all of the attacks on the Bible, and calling sound preaching hate speech, it is only a matter of time before it will be a criminal offense to preach the Bible as written.
That is already coming in. Some pastors are starting to get prosecuted for speaking out against LGBTQ as hate speech. Not sure what the position currently is if they speak out against it in their sermon.
