Hi guys. Nice forum. I was reading where Bloodbought asked someone how they overcame sin. This person told him that he resists the devil and trusts the Lord to help him, and for that he got an Oy Vey. I can't say this at Worthy or George will put me on mod review, but I've got the perfect reply to BB. Tell him that you believe exactly like him and that salvation is based on faith plus nothing. You believe it so strong, you live a life of debauchery, beat your wife and gamble away the rent money playing poker every week. One sin is as bad as another, so you put all your trust in faith, unlike those hell bound and prideful legalists that try to sin no more. Who do those arrogant people think they are? That should get a worthy emotion from him and maybe a well said check mark or two from BB defenders

It is nice to meet you Owl. I will not ask you what you go by at Worthy, because I do not want to get you in trouble.

I was tickled when I noticed Blood Bought made an appearance here at Narrow Way. The fellow makes my day whenever he "oy veys!" one of my posts. Imagine reading about one's love for the Lord and reacting with "oy vey!"
Put those hands up in the air, frienduff. An oy vey from BB is cause for celebration in the Lord!

This is so sad, Dusty. I can see that you are being edified in the Lord over here. Not so much. So rather than learn about the work of our Lord and Savior and His Cross, you opt to ridicule your brothers.
I am very sorry to see this.
You have aligned yourself with pouting children in a gossip session.

i think its really sad bb has his own thread here... but i also think the OP is hilarious. but only because its true. in a sarcastic way.
sarcasm is a lovely way to expose error sometimes.
i also find it sad Alive thinks bb is a brother. he is a heritic, and i shook the dust off my feet quite a while back, and will not even speak to him until i see he has repented.

It is sad that there is this type of animosity and personal hatred and bitterness between the born from above sons of God. This makes our Lord grieve much. If you were to read what BB writes through a pure clear lens, you might come to understand what he is about. I came into christian forms just last September with no ax to grind. Only a desire to see what the Lord's people have on their minds and to find some fellowship. I have gotten what I looked for in spades. Regarding divisions and factions in the Body---this is a dream the Lord gave me several years ago. He sent this dream because not long after, I was to be involved in a split and this was a warning and instruction to me, to not be involved. Afterwards, in the midst of this break up the Lord also spoke a word to me--clear as day and He said, "beware of the root of bitterness and do not build a case against your brethren". The dream and that word to me have served me well then and since. I hope that it will be healing for some here. God bless---the dream.
-----There was a great field and in that field were a great many bodies that had been dismembered in the most heinous fashion. Parts and pieces all over. As I was looking at the scene a word came to my mind that described it. It was a word that has no human equivalent, but was a combination of things like horror, disgust and atrocity. I didn't know the word then and I haven't since, but it was a powerful impression. Very powerful and impossible to describe. I woke like a shot from a cannon and said, "Lord, what the heck was that". He said, "that is how I feel when I see my body divided".

He said, "that is how I feel when I see my body divided". One thing that is occurring today is a separating. Does God want a divided church? Perhaps not, but even worse is a church that accepts people teaching lies like we can commit 1000 acts of murder and rape a day and remain saved, even if we never repent. The shots are being fired against our people through false accusations and unjust treatment. It is easy enough to repair relations. They can recognize the wrong and change their ways going forward, and you know what will happen? There will be no need for further complaints in threads like this, because nobody will be bearing a false witness, and nobody will be placed on moderator review based on false charges, or put in non-conformist status when they never disagreed with the Statement of Faith, and without warning. If the body is divided here, the ones doing the dividing are at WCF. I have no reason to hold grudges. If they make things right, I am willing to forget the past and let bygones be bygones.

I have no problem with people who believe in OSAS but what bothers me and many others is
the fact that some of them do not agree that Christians should encourage, pursue and live a holy life.
Every encouragement to a holy life is not seen well by some of them.
That is not our problem and it is a dividing point.
“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth,
but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” - Ephesians 4:29
Some go to the extreme of condemning the pursue of a holy life, as Scripture commands.
And that is something we simply cannot tolerate. And I believe we are right.
“For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.
Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.” - 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8

Your understanding of what BB is saying is not accurate and is ill-informed due to a lack of understanding of what being born again means and what actually occurs to such a one. BB is making a stretch to make a point I can explain, if you like.
Differences are inevitable. This is reality. As believers standing in the Lord's presence each day, the kicker is how we handle these things from moment to moment understanding that the same Lord is within us each of us. Brethren.
These things all have eternal repercussions. The correct point of view is to think about division in terms of a Body--not the church. This makes things more real.
Born again saints are all human and subject to many things while in these earthen vessels, but from God's point of view, we are the 'Righteousness of God in Christ'. This is true of you and me. This is simple and profound.
Read my threads on Worthy especially 'A Problem Solved' and 'Salvation is Relocation'.
Please do so.
Love in Christ....Alive.

This is simple and profound. Read my threads on Worthy especially 'A Problem Solved' and 'Salvation is Relocation'. Please do so. Love in Christ....Alive. I do believe that it is possible to be completely at peace with WCF. I personally do not care if the leadership believes in OSAS, nor think it is my place to force them to stop believing in it. What I have a problem with are things like the following:
1. Bearing false witness against people in order to justify placing them on Moderator Review, banning them, or something like calling them non-conformists.
2. Being uneven in the way they treat people. Example: Letting a mob of people that hold to OSAS get away with accusing people of rule violations, which leads to them being removed from a thread or worse as a result over some very small infraction. When they complain that the ones accusing them did far worse, they say that they should have reported it. When they start reporting it, they are ignored, and when they want to know why, they are told it is because they report too often.
3. They set up this thing where it made it appear the site was down when it was not to make it nearly impossible for those they did not like to post. It even had a phony message written by George.
4. They place people on restrictions for simply choosing to agree with people the ones in charge do not want anyone to come into agreement with.
5. While on moderator review, the moderators will often times disallow threads from going through, even if there is no rule violations, and they will hold others up till they are buried.
I can tell you of even worse things than this that have taken place, and there are witnesses, but some I choose to back off from because I do not even think George approved of them. They were a total betrayal of trust, but no one man can be able to stop some things, no matter how hard he tries, so I give him somewhat of a pass.
This is not about a different understanding of things. We are led to believe there is this great experiment taking place at WCF, where all views are accepted if they do not violate the SOF, but I am proof that is not true, and so are many of my friends. Once again, if they would change those practices, or at least come clean about doing them, and make it clear that when you join, you are expected to conform or suffer the consequences, only those who want to deal with that will join to begin with. If you are going to go beyond the SOF and TOS and punish people for things when there is no rule in place, you are going to get backlash for doing so. Nobody knows what is acceptable. I know that I did not. I thought as long as I was in agreement with their simple SOF and TOS, I was fine. I was wrong.
As for BB, so what if his comments were extreme for effect? Lets suppose that instead of 1000 incidents of rape and murder a day, it is someone who only does something like that once a week? What about the Deacon who molests he minor daughter or son and believes in Jesus and holds to OSAS? If he never repents, does he go to heaven? Can he not out sin God's grace? It is that kind of warped teachings that leads to this kind of thing.
