Why does Jesus claim some in his generation would see the Kingdom of God?
I usually think the rapture of the saints is a single event in time. Is it?

Why does Jesus claim some in his generation would see the Kingdom of God? I usually think the rapture of the saints is a single event in time. Is it? i hold the belief that Jesus is speaking to those alive on earth at the time when these things happen... as in... this particular generation...
Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
the topic here is beginning of sorrows/trib. i think He is saying when we see these things it will be then the rapture occurs... it will happen fast from the signs.

Why does Jesus claim some in his generation would see the Kingdom of God? I usually think the rapture of the saints is a single event in time. Is it? The people that were alive in the days when Jesus was on earth saw the Kingdom coming in power on the day of Pentecost. The people that see the signs Jesus mentions about the last days is the generation that will see the Lord return. People often do not understand that and claim this proves the Bible is false. They are wrong.
