Let's say you have a grievance against your husband.
You're practicing Ephesians 5. You took advice from 1 Peter 3:1. Now the man is wanting to hear your thoughts and feelings.
It's tempting to vent all the emotions at once. If you're at this point, make sure you're in control.
If you prepare a lot of food or pick it up from the store, clean the space you share, and look very cute--- it doesn't hurt anything when it's time to communicate your negative feelings.
Sometimes your actions go a long way to how receptive your spouse is to you addressing a complaint.
The idea is to mostly be calm and happy so that your displeasure actually means something .
But it's also good to be direct and honest about your needs. Sometimes in the every day stress of life, things fall through the cracks. It's okay to speak up.
Don't do what I used to do--- go seek advice from some opinionated unmarried person. They won't help you. It's an amateur move.
Because they don't know what they're talking about.

I am looking forward to have a wife in the (not so long, I hope) future.
And I did not forget this.
John
Keep watching!

Attitude and how something is said can make all the difference in the world as to how it is received.

Keep watching! May the Lord bless you with a wife who obeys, complements you, and advances the Kingdom of God with you! I will write a testimony when it happens. It will be beautiful.
“That they may see and know,
And consider and understand together,
That the hand of the Lord has done this...” - Isaiah 41:20
Glory to God!
I just hope people will believe it.
“...and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord.
For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.” - Exodus 34:10
Blessings!

My wife is a huge blessing to me. We have been married now for 23 years, and I have no regrets.
