RHEMA FOR TODAY A FAITH PERSPECTIVE
When with a clear conscience one can testify that they’ve done right from the right motives there is rejoicing in their hearts. Our wisdom is not of this world but from simplicity and sincerity as we train ourselves through obedience to the word of God for the body of Christ.
Brethren; there is a course which is laid out before us; it is the highway of holiness and there are few who tread its trails of righteousness. There are too many preoccupied with the world and the course of destruction which it is pursuing; thinking themselves wiser than God. They have allow fear to invade their lives to the point that there is barely any faith in them and now their reliance seems to be upon the powers that be for the sake of personal safety no longer worried about the will of God.
How should the conscience be re-trained when one has strayed off the path of righteousness?
1. Pray in repentance and return to faithfulness; and that the conscience may be right in everything, and expect God to answer to your prayers.
2. Measure every thought with the Bible and cast down and irradiate every thought that disagrees.
3. Honor God’s word and his ways; never contend with it in the smallest thing.
4. Disobey whatever is against it, no matter how pleasant, advantageous and popular it may be.
5. Do not be afraid to take comfort when your godly conscience tells you that you are right.
Conformity to the will of God is the only true place of dignity in the Christian’s life; for it is conformity to the image and character of Christ. His must increase and we must decrease accordingly to be ready for death without regard to our own life whether it be by grave or the catching away.
(11) They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives even in the face of death. Revelation 12:11 TLV
Our lives are not our own we’ve been purchased with the price of the blood of Jesus. It is he; who has placed us; gifted us; and saved us for his praise, glory, and honor. As Christians we are given abundant life; yet we are called to sacrifice our lives being crucified with Christ. Our life is in Christ to do his will and lay down our lives if it comes to facing death for the cause of Christ. The enemy of our souls is like a prowling beast that senses fear in his in prey; fear attracts destruction. Faith in the face of death is a witness that our full assurance is in the hands of God. Shall we give up our liberty; our freedom from fear to appease the flesh; I say not!
(1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1 KJV
Often times peer pressure is fear pressure; when what mere humans think takes precedent over what God thinks about us we are on our way back to bondage. True liberty; is having a consciousness of the mind of Christ; then exercising that conscience whether others like it or not. The mind and mentality of man is enmity against the mind of Christ and certainly holds them in bondage to the flesh. We were redeemed to be reborn to be renewed in the spirit of our minds! The mind of man is in opposition to the mind of Christ!
Brethren these are perilous times when men’s hearts are failing them for fear of death. Evil men and deceivers are growing worse and worse deceiving many using fear tactics. The enemy is sometimes camouflaged in Christ attire preaching another gospel; one that genders to the lust of the flesh; which when received brings with it all the attributes of the flesh. Yet; the bible declares the righteous are as bold as a lion; they know their God and do great exploits for the kingdom of God. In faith they bow to no man and boldly stand steadfast in the liberty that was purchased for them through the blood of the Lamb! Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
