lot of translations it’s called the falling away or the “apostate Church! He said that the Greek word seemed to also mean “departing” which would be more evidence for the pre – tribulation rapture. I have the Geneva translation and they use “the departing” instead of “the falling away”!As tempting as it is to use the pre-King James understanding of 2 Thes. 2:3, you don’t need it to show that Paul taught the Thessalonians a pre-trib rapture. Paul said that before the Day of the Lord can come, there has to be a falling away and the anti-Christ has to be revealed. Then in verse 7 he said that before the anti- Christ can be revealed the restrainer has to be taken out of the way (literally taken from among). This restrainer is widely accepted to be the Holy Spirit resident in the Church. If so Paul was telling them that the church will have to be gone before the anti-Christ can be revealed.

Our forum does not take an official stand on the timing of the Lord's return, though we all believe Jesus will return. Personally, I do believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. Some of our members do not.

Cyprian>200 AD-258 AD “We who see that terrible things have begun, and know that still more terrible things are imminent, may regard it as the greatest advantage to depart from it as quickly as possible.

And yet, many anti-christs, and perhaps the anti-christ, has and was already revealed, contrary to the teachers you listen to. Each section above is subject to testing, and may not be difficult to prove false, altogether.... and/or separately. If the source of what you are "reading" was known better, this could be more clearly observed....

Are you perhaps a jesuit/ trained by jesuits? The purpose of which is to deceive even the elect if possible ? If not, what then ?

One thing you will learn is that we require scripture to accept things. I already believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, but others do not. Do you have scripture you can point us to that would point us to a pre-tribulation rapture, so we can discuss them?

There are more I can come up with but its the modern scourge of the church does not believe in the Rapture and the bible has something to say about our O so modern church, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

That being said, making comments like you just did will not help change minds. You gave nobody a reason to believe in the rapture. You just attacked those that do not.

Sorry to say but I do not believe in other thoughts about the rapture, Pretrib-Is for me because to me it plainly tells me so from the bible.

I just want to know why you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. You said the Bible plainly tells you it is true. Again, I believe in it too, but if you objective is to change minds, you need to share those scriptures that convinced you. If you do that, those who disagree now may see them and reconsider.

Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:34-36
