We have such a BLESSED HOPE and even in the Christian church most Deny it! Why? Never mind the rest of the God forsaken, why,However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived"- the things God has prepared for those who love him-and even the Christians want no part of this >> WHY?

...and even the Christians want no part of this >> WHY? “For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.’” - Matthew 13:15

One is that they simply do not believe the Bible teaches a pre-tribulation rapture. They would love it if it was true, but they do not believe it. Then there are those who really are not in any hurry for the Lord to return because there are things they want to do and they are not ready for Jesus to come back. The word rapture is not in the Bible, so it comes down to whether or not it is taught some other way. I see the rapture in the Bible, but it is not so clear that I can prove it absolutely.

Many people are too focused on things on Earth.
I have heard most people in the USA have two jobs. Why that?!
No wonder so many people in this world do not have time to hear God.
“...the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires
for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.” - Mark 4:19
“Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life,
which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.” - John 6:27
If someone needs to be homeless to hear God then do it.
It will be the best thing you will do in your life and you won't regret.

It will be the best thing you will do in your life and you won't regret. The reason why some have 2 or even 3 jobs is because the jobs they have do not pay well and things are so expensive. What you said is interesting though. How many work all those hours because they are trying to keep up a lifestyle that requires it, where if they lived a more simple life, it would not be necessary? I tend to think that it depends on what is motivating working 2 or 3 jobs. Sometimes it is a man having to do so to provide for his children. I am not going to knock someone for being responsible, but neither am I going to shrug off what you said. It depends.

Think about being in Egypt...
“And the officers of the children of Israel saw that they were in trouble after it was said,
“You shall not reduce any bricks from your daily quota.”” - Exodus 5:19
“So Moses spoke thus to the children of Israel;
but they did not heed Moses, because of anguish of spirit and cruel bondage.” - Exodus 6:9
There are people who devote their life to their career and to what profit?
“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?...” - Matthew 16:26
They may be revered by the world, but God won't remember them.
“...seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33
And I am not talking about luxurious home and things like that. I am talking about what you need.
“And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.” - 1 Timothy 6:8
Prosperity ($$$) preachers may not like that.
Seeking luxurious mansions or a lifestyle that the world consider of a victorious person while almost killing myself to attain is not something I would do.
“Do not overwork to be rich;
Because of your own understanding, cease!” - Proverbs 23:4
It is something the Father already have for me in heaven. And it is much better than anything money could afford in this Earth.
“...as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”” - 1 Corinthians 2:9
And about having children, well, this happens a lot in my country as well.
People who have no conditions having two, three, four or more children without any plan or resources.
Unfortunately, lack of knowledge and wisdom is a big problem in my country.
And I do not believe it is because most people are poor, Brazilians in general do not like to study and enjoys corruption (it is what I see).
As to all rules, there are exceptions. But corruption is like a culture in Brazil, and this reflects in the government.
Many Brazilians are just hypocrites asking for end of corruption. If they want to say that, they must put an end to this infernal culture they practice themselves.
Blessings!

Blessings! All cultures are different, and I would imagine life is not the same in Brazil compared to here in America, though we do have our share of corruption in government. I would think that living to accumulate wealth is something that takes place everywhere.

...I would think that living to accumulate wealth is something that takes place everywhere.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth,
where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal...” - Matthew 6:19
Brazilians also like wealth, perhaps this one of the reasons many of them want to go to the USA (especially Florida) or other countries in Europe.
The plan God has for us believers in this world is very different than the standard the world has set up.
“...lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” - Matthew 6:20-21
What does it mean to "lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven"?
It means to live the gospel, follow the teachings of Christ, to practice them.
That is the true prosperity! If you cannot practice one of them but is willing to, you know what you have to do.
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,
you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” - John 15:7
Sorry, but God is looking for people who are willing to do what He says.
“As soon as they hear of me they obey me;
The foreigners submit to me.” - Psalm 18:44
Conclusion:
“Blessed is every one who fears the Lord,
Who walks in His ways.
When you eat the labor of your hands,
You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.” - Psalm 128:1-2
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.” - Ecclesiastes 12:13

I think we have gotten away from the original subject in this thread, but concerning work, I do not think there is anything wrong with working 2 jobs or working long hours.
"Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man." Proverbs 6:6-11
This seems to be encouraging hard work.
