Sin has come to an end once you believe in GodJesus Eyes and this is very biblical. Enjoy
lets take a closer look at this statement. where exactly in the bible does it say this?
Heb 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; Heb 3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. Heb 3:16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. Heb 3:17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? Heb 3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? Heb 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
i do not think we can find this statement in the above passage, in fact its quite the opposite. You see, in the above passage it says the exact opposite that sin has ended. in fact, it says we can get into unbelief by sin. therefore sin has not come to an end. Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
these scriptures are not works... but a choice. and that is what living by faith is.
lets take a closer look at this statement. Where can we find it in the bible?
eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
oh noez! by grace thru faith. not just the grace thing. you see, more of those life changing choices. more of that exercising of FAITH to even access the grace. and we know that faith without works is dead. faith produces action, not just lipservice. so are you really living by faith if you just claim the grace but do not act upon your beliefs? do we really trust God?
Hos 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
But one must receive this finished work, and once saved, you must allow what Christ done on the cross to work in you>> must allow !!>>GARBAGE!!thaTS WHATS WRONG ON THE THEOLOGY ON THIS FORUM!!Saved By Grace by the LAMBS BLOOD!
So you must not believe in free will, and you must not believe that we must put our faith in his blood.
Rom 3:25 (25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
So I guess you must be a robot.
I just wanted to point out something here Headhurt also, brother Giller said FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS THAT ARE PAST. We must continue to repent daily, Jesus gave us the example in the Lord's Prayer. It is not considered "works" as you describe but more like what Jesus said, If you love me, you will keep My Commandments. Be ye holy because I AM holy. We cannot continue in our old ways, we have been born again and made into a new creature in Christ. You cannot continue in your old life. Only by the Blood of Jesus we have been cleansed but we also must live righteously for His glory.
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
