Please help me.
The enemy is trying to take back control over my mind in heart. Sin has mopped the floor with me. Day in and day out, I struggle to resist.
I struggle to love and respect my husband. The one God gave me for life.
I have resented him in my heart and cherished sin instead.
Please pray that we make it through this season.

Praying sister, we must also confess our sins, (that is what the Lord has been dealing with me this past week) and really look at the sin in our own life. When we can see that, then we can repent of it and surrender it to the Lord. Only then, can He work in and through us. It is a struggle. I understand sister, I really do. I have the same struggle as well sometimes and my husband drives me crazy. BUT, you must remember that you have made a vow and promise to the Lord and to your husband so that you must honor that no matter what. When you are resolute in that decision and that there is no room to give up, to divorce, to end it, the enemy has no room either to mess with your mind on that issue. He can only attack in your disputes and disagreements but not on the issue of divorce. Hope this helps dear sister.
Keep praying for your husband, building him up in prayer. That you pray for protection over him, and that the Lord would fulfill His destiny in your husband's life.

❛Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea,
“Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.❜ - Mark 4:39

The truth is there's always going to be some other option that looks more appealing but it takes determination to live out your vows. In my mind, I place a spiritual boundary around my husband and I. We need each other to keep each other accountable and walking closer to the Lord. Plus, people are watching us. We must bring honor to Jesus with both words and actions. There's too much at stake. For that, I'm sure we can set our differences aside.

Even if we left sin out of the equation, it rarely turns out like we expect it will. The new relationships are worse than what we left, and we miss out on real blessings God had in store for us. I will be praying for you, and I do believe God has good things in store for your future as a couple.

Psa 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
before you can regard iniquity in your heart it starts in your mind. the thought comes and we dont cast it down. we entertain it. law number one of the new testament is to love God. it says with all of our mind in there. once the thought is allowed to stay and we dont judge it... the thought will drop down into our heart. after that its out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. and then its what comes out of the mouth that defiles a man. its so very important we bring every thought into the obedience of Christ. if we do not do this we will have given the enemy a foothold in our life, including our mind and heart. once our mind is polluted we must work to get it cleansed. we have to fight even harder to get to the peace, and its harder to stay there.
when we see in our walk that we have a reoccurring setback... we must take extra precaution to guard against it.

I may fall but I always get back up. Still, the Bible says to flee temptation. That's the right attitude.

Sometimes people get offended that I say I'm a fighter and a soldier.
But I don't mean that in a gender bending way at all.
I mean that is the sort of mentality you must have to survive life and have a real walk with Christ.
If you give up at every opportunity, you won't make it far.
Satan and his army are literally trying to take us out and he hates our marriage just as much as he hated the marriage of Adam and Eve.
I say you have to fight and throw down and encourage yourself because enemies and tears are destined to come your way but you can't see failure as an option.
I've been down so low, I've felt the anguish of life was almost unbearable, but you must hold on and not give way to survive those days and those moments.

Psa 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
