It seams that many of us are now being asked to wear face mask around the globe. If you could design yours to carry a evangelistic message, what would you have on your mask.... Below is one example but perhaps a scriptural bible verse to share the Gospel

I have been refusing to wear one, but I do like that idea, making a positive out of a negative. I think that I would say something like, "Don't fear a virus, fear God." I look at it like the whole world is in fear of the wrong thing. I do not know how the people are reacting to face masks where you are, but here in the states, there are some going along, and others refusing to wear them, or putting them on long enough to enter a store, and then removing them or lowering them where they are completely ineffective.
I was over at a dollar store last week, and the employees were divided over face masks. One was all in on them, and the other would not wear hers correctly and was agreeing with me that the whole face mask thing was stupid. It all comes down to if you believe they are needed and effective, and I do not think either is true. I believe this is all to make the public fearful, and I do not like wearing them because it means I am helping spread the fear. For that reason, if I was going to have a message on a mask, it would be something pointing people to fear the Lord, not the virus.

For the first time I have to wear one (Not in fear ) but can't afford the £100.00 fine which is now thrown at us if we don't wear them in stores.

I totally understand that, and I think that having a positive message on the mask is a good way to deal with it. I thought about using them to promote candidates for office that are opposing the masks, or doing something that would tick the people pushing masks off, but your idea is much better. We could have different Bible verses on every mask, and use them as a witnessing tool. Turn it around on the devil. I really like the idea Les.

Maybe we could find verses that show how pestilences are signs of the last of the last days, and references to end time verses to get people thinking? There are many possibilities here. Thank you for posting this Les. It has really got me thinking about how this evil plot of the devil can be turned around on him.

2Ch 7:13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

I made the choice a long time back not to wear christian shirts or scriptures, or even bumper stickers. eventually you will do something someone will have a chance to say is wrong... even if its not wrong. my choice is to live it in front of them and then let them see it and also when i speak and pray and God shows up... then they know. they cant understand scripture anyway if they do not have The Spirit.
if you choose to wear one i say go ahead.

Were we are now, you cannot go to any store without a mask, which has been for I think a couple of weeks or less.
You are even refused in a store, for the most part if you do not wear a mask.
And for the most part I do not wear a mask, but in stores I do, because we cannot get in otherwise.
Which I got myself this kind of different mask that is breathable, to were you almost breath normal, which is almost as if you had no mask.
At least that is the way it feels to me.

I totally understand your point on this, although I know you are not saying it is wrong to wear shirts and so on, with scripture. To me I sometimes were shirts with scriptures, but mostly it is just plain shirts, or shirts with the logo of the company, something like that. I think either way you can be a witness, but of course it is important to live it, because if you are not living it, well it will not be a good witness for that person, and it will not show seriousness towards the scriptures they are wearing.

here is an example of what i mean. you got a bumper sticker that tells about God, but you one day are in a hurry and misjudged someones speed and pull out in front of them. they are like oh you are a real winner, you must have got your drivers license from the bottom of a cracker jack box... and on and on. they see the bumper sticker, and then they can be turned against christians, the message, and thus Christ. it can be counter-productive.
i do not say all this to try to convince people not to wear or display scripture. its a choice each individual must make. but what i will say is if you do choose to wear scripture you better be serious about every word and action you do put out there as to not do anything in front of them they can say is wrong. and even then whats sweet has been replaced with bitter and bitter for sweet.
I feel the same way about businesses with slogans like "a christian business with christian integrity." if you put out the integrity a slogan is not needed as people know that do business with you... and word of mouth works for or against you.
I do not want to enlarge the borders of my garment. i dont need phylacteries. I need Jesus. You need Jesus. and its Jesus that they need to see... in us, not on us.
i do like to see this kind of face mask tho. its better than say a corona beer ad.

And even though we all need Jesus every day, we can still be a witness, even though not perfect.

They have signs posted everywhere telling us we cannot enter the stores without a mask, but I ignore them. So do half the customers, and many will use a mask to get in, and then remove it. There are a lot of people who are just putting up with the nonsense, and this may wind up backfiring on those pushing masks. I hope that is the case.
