One additional thing I need to point out. Jesus Christ does have the power and authority to forgive sins. If he did want to grant a full pardon to anyone, He can do that, but I am not free to tell people they should not be fearful because Jesus is merciful. I have no way of knowing when those pardons may be given. The evidence that one is truly saved in JESUS , is repentance and a whole new life . NEVER FORGET THAT . If paul , james , jude , peter , paul , john , and such Always were serious and grave . we must be . Never forget that . I weigh the mercy o GOD on HIS own WORD . NOt on how i FEEL . Let us never forget that . I have said this , cause we better be on gaurd . BE on gaurd . When feelings dont add up to scripture , Let us not heed those feelings . You all are looking at one of the worst men you would have ever known . IF anyone would cling to GOD and HIS mercy , it outta be i above all else . YET , even as bad was paul was , HE always preached on the dire need OF faith in JESUS and repentance . LET us never forget that . Cause i am seeing some things , that really are not adding up . There wont be NO generation that at the end will be called , saved and sanctifed , BEFORE THEY REPENT . talk about another gosple man . That aint what JESUS taught and it aint what the apostels taught . I aint here to be mean rude or crude . But sorry gideon , i call you on that one . You know i love you . BUT i call you on that one .

When God appeared to me fourteen years ago, He revealed to me many things concerning His bride and what was in store for her before He returned. There will be a generation of believers who will saved , delivered and sanctified BEFORE they truly repent, not afterwards. i realize some here will want to call me on this. They will demand scripture to back such a heretical sounding statement up. If you will then, read the 36th chapter of Ezekiel. Here God tells His own that they have blasphemed His holy name wherever they have gone. Guys, whether we like it or not, it is speaking about us. Not just those of the side of greasy grace. But yes, those of us who have determined to obey God but without the Spirit being the power behind it. We have offered the world a religion where our hypocrisy is on full display. Some want to make the grace of God their excuse for remaining in sin. Others want to think they are the true servants of God by their own diligence and obedience, while totally lacking compassion, mercy and tears. These are quick to judge and condemn, and like the two disciples who asked if Jesus wanted them to call down fire from Heaven upon those they saw in error, Jesus responded that they knew not what spirit they were. Our job is to display Jesus to others, not just quote His words. It is the love we have for those we see trapped in error that will do far more to awaken and draw them than our quickness to point out their errors, declaring them lost. So, that generation I spoke of, found in Ezekiel 36? God said that this generation that, by their lives, did not gather but scattered abroad, this same people who blasphemed His Holy name wherever they went, would be used as God-filled laborers to gather in the great end time final harvest. Whoa. And how will God accomplish this miracle, this demonstration of His mercy on ALL of us who call ourselves as Christians? "And I will sanctify My great name which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God , when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes." Ezekiel 36:23 Guys, we are all guilty, myself at the head of the class. We, and I in particular, have not displayed Jesus to a lost and dying world, desperate for light, nor to His own people bound in a religion that sets no one free. We have not displayed His love, nor His compassion. We have lacked His patience and mercy. We have set ourselves on pedestals as if WE are the people of God and that we are living pure and holy lives. We are not. And yet..... And yet... What a wonderful continuation to our dilemma. What hope remains! What amazing mercy! And yet, despite our blindness and contentment without overflowing with fruits, God is going to restore us to our former glory. All the elect, all who love the Lord, no matter how far they may have drifted through erroneous teaching, WILL hear His voice. They WILL be sanctified wholly, body, soul and Spirit. And just as God has promised us, He WILL cause us to obey Him. We WILL walk as new creatures, and resist satan steadfast in the faith that the old us truly died when Christ died, And guess what? Satan WILL flee from us! Every temptation! It is when this occurs, and God's church is revived from the dead, where we have been healed bur only slightly, that the truth God reveled to me will come to pass. it will be THEN that we will look back and see how blind we have been, how content in our version of what we thought Christianity looked like. Here is the verse where God has promised such an amazing display of mercy and undeserved grace. "“‘Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean; from all your filthiness and from all your idols will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments and do them. “‘I will also save you from all your uncleannesses; and I will call for the corn and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. And I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen. Then shall ye remember your own evil ways and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. Ezekiel 36:25-27,29-31 Did you catch that amazing last verse? There it is! The generation forgiven before they repented. US! Wow! Look guys, I do not want to start a war here. But I have seen a lot of judgment thrown around here, but sadly, how seen few tears shed . Mercy rejoices against judgment. If we feel our brothers are led off in error, we are to warn, yes. But above all we are to PRAY. We are to INTERCEDE. We are to stand in the gap till they see what God desires of all of us. An obedience fueled by Him living inside us, with us reckoned DEAD. We who are awake to the truth are to cry out to our God to withhold judgment till all His children return to Him. Every single one. We cannot damn others to hell for not obeying if we do not tell them HOW to do so. And if there are still areas of our own lives not fully subdued to His authority, should we not rather be on our knees seeking God to fully deliver us from our own disobedience, from our lack of compassion and empathy and our hard judgments when judgment is not yet? Now is the time for mercy, and we cannot receive it till we acknowledge our own need for it. Love is what will break the yoke of blindness. If those we warn do not see or feel love as the motivator of our warnings, they will reject us and so they should. Christ cares for those in deception, whether in the church or out. And if Christ is in us, we too will walk the same way. blessings and I pray any reading this hard-to-read post will bear in mind how much I care as I speak these words. Gideon well, this post is not speaking about me, or anyone I know. The whole post seems about those who are not Born Again Christians.I want to remind people that no-one knows our hearts, or the hearts of others except God. I dont care how much someone else says they post in love, Bible truths are Bible truths. And this doesnt seem like Bible truths to me. I will wait for the other, more knowledgeable ones to come in and explain this. But it just doesnt sit right with me. I am also uncomfortable with judging and claiming the whole group of Christians are bad, uncaring and harsh, unscriptural etc etc. This sounds like blood and thunder preaching to me. Very good dear sister . Would you like to know why you are not comfortable with this and why this doesnt seem like bible truth to you . CAUSE IT aint in THE BIBLE . And it does contradict JESUS and all the aposltes on their appraoch towards the lost . THEREFORE KNOWING the TERROR of GOD we persaude men . JESUS never once implied folks are saved , sanctified and or etc , WITHOUT repentance . REPENT for THE KINGDOM is at HAND , were HIS WORDS . REPENT YE and BELEIVE the gosple were the aposetls words . You stay in that bible sister . CLING TO IT . cause in this age we got lots of emotions and good fair sounding speeches , ONLY they aint adding up to the truth in that bible .

And if Christ is in us, we too will walk the same way. blessings and I pray any reading this hard-to-read post will bear in mind how much I care as I speak these words. Gideon Coming here telling us in advance that we will demand scripture to back up what you said will not stop me from doing so. I want scripture to back up the coming awakening and scripture in context to back up the rest of what you said. I do not believe what you posted shows what you claim it does.
Jesus said what He said, and He meant it. The Apostles said what they said and they meant it. I actually believe what they said. People like Frienduff actually believe what they said. This has nothing to do with judging anyone. It has to do with taking Jesus and the Apostles at their word. You say we did not tell them how to get free? That is nonsense. All of us did just that. We all said, almost in unison, that people need to resist when they are tempted and cry out to God for help. When we are serious, He will hear and deliver. We do not have to wait on some future awakening! Jesus never told the woman caught in adultery to go and sin no more once the awakening occurs, or only after he gave her points about how to do it. People claim God reveals all kinds of things to them all the time, but I measure all against the Bible, so I am not going to just believe there will be an awakening where people will suddenly have the power to live right.
You said we cannot just go around damning people to hell. Neither can you go around speaking for Jesus and basically disagreeing with Him, because all I have been doing is repeating His words. He is the final judge on things, not me and not you. When I show what He says, if His words are damning people to hell, that is not me doing it. That is Jesus doing it, and those who come in here saying that is not true are not at odds with us, but with Jesus. He did no sin, so He can judge others. I am just repeating His words, and I most certainly can just do that. I was told by the Lord to preach the Word. I can back that up in Timothy that this is scriptural. I feel you are the one led off in error. There is this phony love message going around where we are not to be straight forward with people about what the Bible really says, but we are to love and woo them. Jesus and the Apostles never taught that. How do you know if we are praying for each other? You do not! How do you know if tears are shed? You do not! How do you know if we are judging people? You do not! The judging is coming directly from Jesus and the Apostles, and I do not plan to let up one bit, because people are going to hell believing lies. If they are waiting on some awakening to repent, they will be in trouble.
I take you at your word that you are not trying to start a war, and I am not going to war against you, but I do not receive what you said as being right. I do not care if you are saying it in love or hate. It is false. I have been listening to the church claim we cannot preach fear into people, but we must love them in. Look where that has gotten us! Look at the condition of the church since we started down that road with the seeker friendly model in the 90s. No fear of God. No concern that daddy God will cast anyone out. I am sorry, but you are barking up the wrong tree with that stuff here. That was very well said my friend . exactly . if that model works so well , How come we in the greatest falling away i have ever seen , and its those who holler love them to GOD that are the ones falling away so fast . Nope . we must sound like JESUS did . WE must sound like the apostels did . Its the only pattern that is gonna work . Let me leave us with this example . THOUGH the more abundantely i love , the LESS i be loved . CAUSE pauls love , came with correction . Keep marching on my friend . The three legged stool dont work here . But lets also look at what is written . LETS look at what HATE really is . For john even said , IF ye hate your brethren , ye are a murderer no murderer has eternal life in them . Lets look closely at this next statement . YE shall not HATE your neighbor in your heart . YE shall in any way rebuke and correct him and not allow sin upon him . SO giving a false hope about not repenting , yet being saved . YEAH that is actually HATE . WE NEED to keep in line with JESUS and those apostels . REBUKE , do all to correct any who does err . And pray that , here goes that R word again , REPETNANCE may be GIVEN . AKA , REPENT is and was a word often used by GOD HIMSELF in both the old and the new testament . Not so much today . But yeah , HE often said it , JESUS we KNOW SAID IT . the apostels we know said it. SPeaking of great awakening . REMEMBER when i said that is nothing but the height of the falling away . WELL if we think there is a generation that is saved , and yet not repentant , talk about falling away . NOPE . I call that one . Gideon means well , But he is flat out wrong on some stuff .

The evidence that one is truly saved in JESUS , is repentance and a whole new life . NEVER FORGET THAT . ... And these signs are (far) more important than tongues (or an empty praise with the lips).
❝Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter
the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.❞ - Matthew 7:21
❝...be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.❞ - James 1:22
❝Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.❞ - 1 Corinthians 13:1
❝You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?❞ - Matthew 7:16
❝Therefore by their fruits you will know them.❞ - Matthew 7:20

It is not just about what we say, but what we do, and I can tell you this Letters. There are many who do speak with tongues that I know are not right in their relationship to God by their sinful lifestyle. We need to be concerned with the whole Word of God. Nice reminders.

What did paul say , I praise God that i speak with tongues more than ye all ..................... But notice what that man also says later . I keep my body UNDER SUBJECTION , lest even after i have preached the gosple , I MYSELF be a cast away . CAST out . Exactly . If even paul who had , bygrace , preached the gosple more than all , and spoke with tongues , did not remain keeping that body under subjection , he knew he could be cast out . And folks wanna holler that a generation is gonna be saved and santified BEfore they even repent . That does not line up with anything JESUS said or the aposltes said . And as concerning the end times . Let us read , mathew twenty four , mark chapter thirteen , luke seventeen and twenty one , read what peter wrote , read both letters to timothy first time fourth chapter , second time third chapter . AND you tell me , if they ever once taught about some kind of awakening near the end . ALL I HEAR and HEARD , was A FALLING AWAY , Evil sky rocketing , the love of many waxingcold . YEAH . instead of emotions , WE BETTER HEED THE WORD .

And be doing all to point to JESUS , all His reminders , the reminders of the appostels of revelation and all holy doctrine . FOR all who call UPON the NAME of the LORD shall be saved . So how on earth is there gonna be a generation that has not repented nor santicified being saved . Man i never even heard of such a thing . except something somewhat similiar . Pope francis and his inclusive message . BUT OH ME and OH MY , we better NOT believe that message even for a second . cause we know HE is false . Look lets just stick to what we already know in the bible . And if anything else comes along , it gets tested by the biblical examples . For we have ONE LORD , one Faith , and one Spirit and one BOOK called the bible . Any other spirit , ideals or anything thought or said , MUST align with what Those men in that bible said In line with what JESUS said .

Going back to my original post, I want to point something out.
Before I was determined to live wholly in righteousness, I never had any assurance of salvation.
Folks would say I simply needed more faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. I was very confused. I'd take their advice, but still not have assurance.
But now I have assurance because my life looks like Galatians 5:22 and because I know I'm not a slave to the sins that once ruled my life.

Gideon i have carefully considered how to respond to your words here. and i suspect if you stick around long enough you will discover we do pray for one another here. i also suspect you will in time be able to see the evidence of the fervent effectual prayers of the righteous availing much. i have seen in time my prayers come to pass for others, and even for me i have seen the prayers of others for me come to pass... and my walk is cleaner today because of it. In fact, if you have a prayer request... do make it known and we will be happy to pray for you.
however, the part i want to really talk about with you is about what many members suffered previous to coming here. and that was heresy and those heretics coming against us calling us judiazers and legalists, and all because they promoted hyper grace and other false teachings. many of us here stood for biblical truth, but our words fell upon deaf ears. and still we were accused. they plotted against us, and still to this day occasionally they try to stir up strife here. many of us here were lied on and falsely kicked off other forum/s. a good bit of this forums existence can be attributed to the desire to not have falsehoods taught. not having false teachers promoted. many of us here take this very serious as these false teachers we did pray for and show them daily biblical truth found in scripture... they are leading baby sheep astray. we take this very serious because we do fear The LORD. goodness and severity. if you converse with each forum member long enough you will find The Holy Ghost has revealed the things we speak on as to why we speak against the heresy of OSAS. we hold high regard to practicing righteousness in daily life being that living sacrifice, and so that we may step into a holy lifestyle. everyone here holds high regard to Holiness unto The LORD. personally i cant wait until even the common items like bowls and horses bridles have inscribed upon them HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD, and everything we take for granted now... will be sanctified to Him. on that day there will only be one locked door. the one to hell. no more lies. no more thievery. not even any more tears. and this is life. we only have a taste of it now.
Glory awaits.
now as far as God saving people before they repent i cant really argue that, and here is why. last time i was locked up round about 20 years ago there was this fella i picked a fight with. just out of boredom. i was mean. mean as they come. and just as wicked. i got a pentagram tattooed on my head and a tattoo that represents three six's on my hand. i have called up unclean spirits at the graveyard, and in my bedroom. i have bowed the knee to baal. if it was evil, i was involved. i didnt want nothing to do with God. i never called upon Him. but after i almost killed this man in a fight, shortly after God showed up. I had questions coming... what good is your life doing you, what good is your life doing others... in the world etc. i tried to get off my bunk and move away from God but i fell down sitting indian style looking up at Him. He cleaned up up and He put His Spirit in me. months later on the day of my release the man i almost killed was still there in my tank. he said loudly as i walked to the door with my mat and sheets, hey man you gonna leave that bible, you are the evilest dude in here, and you need that bible man. those words cut me deep in my heart and i was ashamed. i replied yeah i dont need it. but you see God had put this guard there, and he asked me you dont have a bible? i said no sir.... well im not letting you out until you go get that bible. i had been locked up long enough and dropped my mat right where i stood and went and got that bible. didnt even try to argue it. i figured i could throw it away on the way home. now home was a run down abandoned house not fit to live in. i was squatting in a shack that was condemned and needed to be bulldozed. i was homeless. there was a homosexual guard with curly hair that looked like jerry springer, but younger and curly hair. so we messed with him because he was a homosexual. we called him baby springer. he tried to say i couldnt leave with that book. baby springer did the out-takes of inmates before they got released. the guard come get me out the tank told him thats a bible and i dont have one. springer tried to argue still, and the guard pulled rank. told him the ministry gives those so people without can have and to shut up or get wrote up. do your job. baby springer turned his head to the computer and began typing so i could leave. i was going to just throw it away on the way home. but there was not one trash can in sight. all the way across town. and here they do not lock up the dumpsters, in the next county over they do. but that night all the dumpsters had a lock on them. i threw the bible down on couch at my shanty. left it there. went back out in the world. drinking. dope. shacked up with a woman. and 2.5 years later im walking that same road of shame... back to my shanty. i didnt want to kill myself, but didnt want to live either. i remember turning my head to the left in front of that couch as i said i done tried everything and nothing works. i turned my head back straight. there was that bible. but not as i tossed it down 2.5 years ago. it was perfectly placed in front of me. so i could pick it up and read it. i said, i aint tried that. i picked it up and said ok God. if you are out there and care anything about me show me something. i opened to the first page of ecclesiastes in this CEV bible. something grabbed my eyes and fixed them on the words, respect and obey God for this is what life is all about. we will be judged for everything we do and say. all the other words was blurry. my eyes got as big as golf balls and i said ok God you showed me something. i continued to read. that night i told God i will try to do it your way. I told him i wont steal no more unless i got to eat. buddy, i ate every day since. and 2 weeks after that i have not been homeless one day.
you know, i still got that bible today. so many highlights and underlines in it. its my most precious possession. when i flip thru the pages i have so many memories of God growing me, and teaching me, and even when God used me to preach to others.
the thing i do want to point out in the scripture you quoted where God showed you something... there is a moment where they did change their mind and turn around. without this we can not draw near to Him. and even tho He grants repentance we can choose to follow our sin instead of Jesus. we can be a branch in the Vine and still not produce fruit. and then we would be removed, withered, and cast in the fire. Jesus said this.
but the reason why i do not reject your teaching aside from scripture to back it up, and my own experience... is you are not teaching hyper grace... repentance is still in the mix. and even tho i do have experience with what your saying, my experience also says until there is repentance you wont grow in The LORD.

Haven't been able to keep up with this whole thread and I'm still resting, but it might be helpful to know whether we are all on the same page as to what repentance is. Different people might have different takes on how they regard repentance. To my understanding it just means to turn around, to change one's mind. I'm not sure that repentance is always something WE do...we may desperately desire it, or we may stubbornly or rebelliously refuse it, or we may not even know we need it....... but repentance is something the Lord GRANTS us, He picks us up and turns us around from going the wrong direction, our own way, to head in the right direction, His way, by His Spirit. All anyone needs to do is to be willing, and to YIELD to Him when He does this. Repentance is not a form of humiliation or self-flagellation, and since it's not something we really do of our own self...it's another good reason why we will lay our crowns at HIS feet. Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God (His Spirit), as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Act 5:31 “He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 2Ti 2:25 with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth So if anyone is saved they have been granted repentance and are turned around from going their own way. They have repented in that sense. But if what someone means by repentance is turning around from individual sins, then I would agree that can come after being saved, through the Lord working in the new believer's life through instruction of the word, conviction, etc. When I was first saved, some sins dropped off automatically, and other sins were not repented of until I had learned and been instructed in the word as to what sin was. So it might just depend on what one means when they are talking about repentance.

I had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT . And that is a fact . HE put new desires in me , HE drew me to real faith in JESUS . Not me , not my flesh . And now HE used me to warn others when i see error to REPENT of that error . ITS a beauty . But we better CONTINUE TO HEED HIM , Or reap destructioin . OH yes . I keep it real . I dont let folks imagine that maybe God will take away a few reward if we enter into sin and die in it . NOPE . Not the case . IF we turn away from HEEDING the SPIRIT , Guess where we end up . LAKE OF FIRE . BUT do praise GOD for HIS MERCY , cause even when i err , HE CONVICTS ME to repent ASAP or else . DId we catch that . REPENT ASAP OR ELSE . Test that . GOD says the same thing to the seven churches , SO IT MAKES SENSE HIS SPIRIT WOULD say the same thing to those in error . Just saying . NOW LEAP UP SISTER . LEAP UP and PRAISE THE KING .

repentance is when you put both new and old testament versions together. its changing your mind and turning around. the part thats missed often is the greeks were devout and they lived what they believed. a large portion of their culture was based on philosophy and reasoning. if you could change a greeks mind... you changed how they lived. in the OT repentance means turn around. God often told them turn ye and live, return unto me, turn from your wicked ways. if you are turned towards sin your back is to The LORD. true repentance is that you drop it like a hot potato, turn 180 degrees around and walk away... and you do not return to pick it back up. one of the best examples of repentance we can find in scripture is found here: Psa 51:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Psa 51:2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Psa 51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Psa 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Psa 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Psa 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Psa 51:8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Psa 51:9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psa 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Psa 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Psa 51:13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Psa 51:14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. Psa 51:15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. Psa 51:16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. Psa 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Psa 51:18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Psa 51:19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. many scholars believe this psalm was written at least one year after David done what he did. another aspect to repentance is Godly sorrow. we see evidence of Godly sorrow in the psalm above. some preachers today preach god dont give a rip if you are sorry for your sins, i personally do not believe that because: 2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
in repentance there is also confession. 1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. G3670 ὁμολογέω homologeō hom-ol-og-eh'-o From a compound of the base of G3674 and G3056; to assent, that is, covenant, acknowledge: - con- (pro-) fess, confession is made, give thanks, promise. Total KJV occurrences: 24
this greek word is actually a compound word made up of two words. 1) homo or the same and 2)Logeo which comes from logos. in this instance it means to say or a saying, thus it means to say the same thing... AS GOD. we agree with Him in that we have sinned.
so once we realize we have sinned and have Godly sorrow, we change our mind that we were wrong and want to turn from it, we confess it to God, which is forsaking that which we know to be wrong in Gods eyes... we are turning to God for a full pardon, but also to be cleansed and freed from sin.
anything less than this is not true repentance.
