Joh 8:31-38 (31) Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; (32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (33) They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? (34) Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. (35) And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. (36) If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (37) I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. (38) I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
There obviously was a certain reason why these Jews reacted the way they did, and they said that they were Abraham's seed, they were boastful and full of pride, in fact Jesus said that the word had no place in them. Well we who are true Christians are saved of course, but let us guard our hearts so that we do not approach God with a boastful attitude, as one of the deserving ones, the so called privileged, as if God owes us. Many times in the faith movement they approach God from that attitude. Yes let us cling to his word, yes his promises are yeah and amen to those that believe, but you approach God out of a submissive heart, and believing that God can fulfil his word, and trusting that he will do so. He fulfils his word and not you. Our faith gets tested and tried, and in those moments, or any moment, let us fully trust him, no matter what. God is good. Look at the examples of even the gentiles . the centurion and that lady . Notice their approach . in fact notice all the appraoches . The one man was actually in a position of authority . HE KNEW . HE KNEW who the utilmate authority was . HE DIDNT tell JESUS , HEY I NAMED IT AND I CLAIMED IT . HE said , i am not worthy that you should even come under my roof , to even go one step out of your way , just speak the word . JESUS said i have not seen so great a faith , NO NOT in all of israel . NOTICE the lady . She was told , WE cant give that to the dogs . ANd she never said < HEY I AINT NO DOG , I AM A KINGS KID , NOW HEAL ME , I CLAIM IT . she simply said , YES LORD , but even the wee dogs , LIKE ME , eat from the crumbs that fall from their masters table . AND JESUS marveled at her faith as well . The attitude i see today with these nar things and prosperity men of BELIAL , is just wicked . Who on earth does man think he is , that he can bark orders at GOD and etc .

if God never spoke another word to us, or had anything to do with us in the least... He would still be righteous. And Holy. And Good.
He Is The One who served us, when He didnt have to. He is the One who died in our place, so we could live. He left His Place in Heaven for us. He could have just let us each die in sin. He could have destroyed everything totally back in the garden when Adam and Eve ate the fruit.
even more, for us, He did seek us out. He pursued us. and even in the times when we lived in such a way we were His enemy... He did what was good for us. O what manner of Love He has bestowed upon us. How blessed it is to be called His own. that when we call, He would hear. Just for Him to acknowledge us who are unworthy to even be in His presence and the only way possible for us to be is by His Spirit in us.
Without His breath in us... we are nothing but dust. I do rejoice to be alive. To be Loved by Him. And to think on the fact that we are only getting a taste now... and this taste is only a vapor in the wind. in all ways, without Him... we are nothing. In all ways with Him, we have everything.

We are privileged in the lord, but only after a certain manner.
We are not privileged through arrogance, we are not privileged through merits, we are not privileged through entitlement or as if God owes us.
But we are privileged to serve the Lord, and have privilege to his promises, through Christ and what Christ done on the cross.
We boast in Christ, doing all to the glory of God.

Who on earth does man think he is , that he can bark orders at GOD and etc . Amen...exactly. We are His servants, He is not our servant. There is a lot of presumption going on in certain groups within the church....why Jesus said only those who do the will of the FATHER will enter the kingdom of heaven...He only did what He saw the FATHER doing...the Father's will. Not using His power/gifts to do His own will, but subjugating them entirely to the will of the Father, to be led by His Spirit. Even I believe those who say, Lord, Lord did we not do miracles and such....resemble the magicians and priests of Egypt who counterfeited as it were the miracles of Moses. If witchcraft can be defined as exerting one's will with the aid of a spirit, then witchcraft is more common than we think, but people in the church don't know when they are doing it. There's a difference between faith being of the Holy Spirit, and the presumption of our flesh. And just to add, that this is what Jesus and the apostle wrote of miracles that deceive if it were possible, even the elect.
