GOD IS OMNISCIENT OR HE IS NOT GOD AT ALL:
(3) I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass. Isaiah 48:3 KJV
Lo and behold the creation cries out against those who doubt his existence; there are the great expanses of the universes and the masterful design of creatures big and small. The miracle construction of the eye and the ear to see and to hear are evident that he is and he rewards those with knowledge that diligently seek him. Evolution cannot explain these realities and yet has to show proof of one creature evolving into another totally different creature; where are the fossil records of those supposed transitions? There are none! Our God Yahweh or Jehovah whichever you prefer declared many things from the beginning; those things went forth out of his mouth through the mouths of his chosen prophets and they came to pass!
God is omniscient or He is not God at all:
In chapter 45 of Isaiah God is declaring that a pagan king called Cyrus would set the exiled captives of Israel free and rebuild Jerusalem. The prophet is Isaiah who is still in Israel and God chastens their unbelief through a prophetic discourse in verses.
(9) “Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots! Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no handles’?
(10) Woe to him who says to a father, ‘What are you begetting?’ or to a woman, ‘With what are you in labor?’”
(11) Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and the one who formed him: “Ask me of things to come; will you command me concerning my children and the work of my hands?
(12) I made the earth and created man on it; it was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host.
(13) I have stirred him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways level; he shall build my city and set my exiles free, not for price or reward,” says the LORD of hosts. Isaiah 45:9-13 ESV
Scripture is inspiring and faith fortifying. Our response to prophetic passages like Isaiah 45 concerning the children of Israel is meant to instill calm in us. When we wrestle with God concerning our future; it’s not good for our spiritual growth. Doubt in the Omnipotent and Omniscient God is an injustice to ourselves and sets us up for failure. Please notice what the prophet says in verse 13.
I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts. (Isaiah 45:13 KJV)
God raised Cyrus up in his own righteous way and directed Cyrus in the way God wanted Cyrus to go; then he used Cyrus to set his own people free without hostage negotiations and it was done according to the perfect and sovereign will of God himself in God’s perfect timing for the benefit of God’s people.
If you are redeemed everything that happens in this world is focused around your spiritual survival as a people who are witnesses of God’s omnipotence and omniscience! We are set in place through trial, tribulation, and torment to show forth the glory of God in our lives! Yes my brethren God is a God of blessings too! Yet those material blessings cannot build your spiritual persona into the likeness and image of Christ who forsook all the wealth of the world to pursue and secure our salvation through his ultimate sacrifice. In a sense Cyrus was a precursor of the coming of Christ who has come to set us free from the bonds of sin and death. Yet; God is a God of restoration and there are truly times and seasons in the will of God and the scope of the prophetic.
Brethren; we should not strive with our Creator and doubtfully question his will for our lives. It is God who has set us where we are and made us who we are by his own design when we made the choice to abandon our former selves and give Him the reins of our lives.
Today I am convinced that God expects complete integrity from those who’ve been chosen to represent him in Spirit and Truth. While it is truth that only God is flawless perfection; He expects us to strive for perfection that reflects his character in our lives. It is prerequisite that if we want to lead others to Him we must practice to be like Him! It has been said that God leads us away from our abominable ways to those who are still in their abominable ways to declare by our lifestyle that we are no longer abominable in our ways. God is a God who changes us from the inside to manifest his ways on the outside!
(17) So that if any one is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old state of things has passed away; a new state of things has come into existence.
(18) And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and has appointed us to serve in the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 Weymouth
So why then should we linger any longer in the works of the flesh that defy the newness of the spirit and mind of Christ. We are therefore reconciled to God to be the ministers of reconciliation. Brethren if God could call a pagan king by his very name centuries before he was born; surely he can call us by name and utilize us to bring the message of Christ through the method he has preordained for our lives. There are many things God has in store for his remnant; yet we must call upon him!
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. (Jeremiah 33:3 ESV)
It is God who has chosen us and called us to the irrevocable gifts and calling of his providential wisdom. It is God who opens the eyes of our spiritual understanding to know the mysteries of the Kingdom.
He said to them, “To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables, (Mark 4:11 WEB)
Brethren if we press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus we shall perceive and receive enlightenment and illumination for the path set before our feet. Press into prayer and press into power and press into divine perspective. We are endued with the mind of Christ to perceive the plans of God. Our Omniscient God has a proven record of reliability!
Remember this: If God is not Omniscient he is not God at all! Selah!
